Hey everyone, I've been asked to name a subdivision here in Arkansas. After having gone through about thirty names that sound just like every other subdivision in the world I thought it would be interesting to see if there was a way to somehow slip an Atari game name or icon into a name. Any thoughts? Of course, the meeting is at 8:00 am so if you've got ideas speak now. If your subdivision name is chosen and I will certainly get photos for you and exclaim my extreme thanks. I've got the usual names covered, I would like to somehow dedicate this to Atari, if possible. Let me know what you've got.

Well, now you're too late, I just finished them off in a last ditch effort to stay awake.

Well, I suppose I could share the canes. Maybe I should hold a contest (with the assitance of Albert, of course) for something I've worked on. I will have to discuss this with Albert but it might be a fun after Christmas pick-me-up. I will need to see some support out there to make sure this is worth the time. Whatever the prizes, they will be from my own collection and if you're lucky I will include some candy canes as well. Dale

Thanks for the kind comments, While I was busy working on the next installment in Eduardo Mello's video game series, Yie Ar Kung Fu, for Opcode Games (Shameless Plug) I recieved a note from Albert asking me to visit this forum thread and I was pleasantly surprised. I appreciate the comments and I'm glad you enjoy the work I'm putting out there. We should all give a virtual hug to Dave Exton as well, after all he is donating his immense talents to the Christmas Giveaway Cartridge. (And he is an amazing painter who has done a lot of work for the cause as well.) Back to work for me, or maybe another one of those candy canes. Hmmm Thanks again Dale

Everyone was a great help to me at the table. Thanks again everyone. Joe and I were off in video game land somewhere in the background of all those photos you've been seeing. Saddest part was that I only had about five minutes play time for the entire arcade, I'm stil trying to figure out where I was the rest of the show.

I should send that shirt to you as a momento of the show. I know you really wanted it, you couldn't stop talking about it. haha. Besides, I already tried on all the shirts before the show started and I look damn sexy in all of them.

Damn! Mo Rocca! That's the best compliment I have ever recieved. You rock! Maybe we should start a forum section on me and me alone, I love reading about myself. haha.

I was wondering the same thing! Me too, Dale Crum is MUCH hotter. Me-ow. Damn straight Sorry Joe you're out of the running. hehe

LMK? I would be happy to send out a purchase, this will be the first time I have ever recieved an order online so maybe I should send something extra in that package. Let me think about what i can do for you. This might be fun, as long as you don't know what I'm sending the suspense is killing me already. hmmmm

New transfer ideas? Did you mention this at the booth? I'm sure I was too busy being away from it to know what was going on over there I sold more stuff avoiding the booth so I spent most of the show bothering Osmeroid and Cassidy. Thanks for watching everything for me MrsMegaManFan, you rock! I should probably give a thanks to Tempest, Albert, Joe Grand and Kirk Israel for watching my booth as well. haha sorry for making you work even more.

Thanks for your input. I sent the gamepark off to a friend, who is very excited to test it out. He should be getting it today as a matter of fact. I will alert him to this post for additional help. I can only hope and pray that he can get it back on it's feet and help me sync it up with a mac. Otherwise I'm screwed on this one. Great item, with tons of great features, it's just too bad they left out the mac lovers.

I bought this piece of junk a few weeks ago. I don't own a PC, I have no idea how to get this working at all. I read through a million instructions and nothing happens. I noted on several sites that when you start the gamepark you get a GUI style splash page, when I start up the ystem I get a list of about five options, File menu, options, tools, pc link, etc. What is wrong with this thing? I installed all the software on a PC at work and I don't get the folders built for me. I've done something and now the system displays a very very long list of files upon start up. I can't get out of this stupid list and back to the main menu. Does anyone know whats up. Please help before I sell this hunk of junk.

It's a History of Video Games Speech for the kids. A friend of mine works at the library and asked me to do this for the local school children. I agreed and here I am desperatly looking to finish up the project. Anyone with ideas? Thanks

Thanks, Everyone is more than welcome to come. Thought the typical group here will be between 4th and 7th graders. I'm bringing in several systems. Gameboy Advanced, Sega Genesis, Odyssey 2, Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Lynx, Colecovision, NES, Super NES, Turbographx-16, Playstation 1 & 2, Dreamcast. That's all I could secure. I'm hoping to have three TV's set up for play. I'm borrowing most of these systems from friends. I'm also bringing in my Atari 2600 collection (which is pretty big) lots of boxed games from Atari as well as Lynx. Should be fun, I was just hoping to get a good supply of videos to show as well. Dale

I think I heard something about that. Unfortunatly I have neither a playstation2 nor the Anthology. Maybe I can go rent them. Sound like a plan to me, I wonder how many are on there? Thanks for the insight.

I'm doing a History of Video Gaming Speech and need some random Video Game Commercials. Highest resolution possible. I downloaded a few commercials from various web sites and they are all too small and compressed. Does anyone have anything I can use in a presentation that will actually be viewable on a television screen size. I'm using a macintosh and wmv files don't like me very much especially when using Final Cut Pro. I read through several threads here on AtaraiAge and couldn't really find anything. I guess I'm asking for donations to help the conversion of young kids in an effort to keep the community alive. This is our future we're talking about here. Help if you can. Thanks AtariCart/Dale

Room34, this was one messed up contest. I guess my unwillingness to print the word search out didn't help. I still don't know how anyone realized where to cut the puzzle and how and why those letters in Phoenix are highlighted. I'm still stumped, I will just go through now and enter all the answers
-
I'm just not understanding the clues here. I've still got a half finished word search that means nothing. I'm really going to need to see this one spelled out in the simplest of terms so I can understand what is going on here.
-
I still don't get the word search, I found all 10 in that shuffle gif and the "secret word" even though that barely made any sense.
-
This contest is messed up. I think I have nine more titles to find, but without a pattern or some serious clues I can't take it anywhere. I continue to find random words in the search that seem to have no bearing on the contest. Most of these words are longer than 3 three letters yet have no relevance to Atari games. I would trade my ability to win just to have the answer to this contest and ease my mind. I'm going mad staring at this thing. Please give us some real help on this thing. I read through the Pitfall contest and to my surprise never even saw the solution to that word search posted. Nor did I ever see an answer written, would like some help there. Anyone? anyone?

I'm going to have to say something as well here. The "26" part is sort of messed up, you can type anything in there and the page simply takes you to the rules page. I just spent two hours going blind staring at the puzzel. My eyes are bleeding! someone please help me . . . .

Splatform 2600 (just another new homebrew minigame)
Doc4 replied to Thomas Jentzsch's topic in Atari 2600
Well, that sucks. I really wanted to play this game. Thomas, it's time you built a better emulator for the Mac. -

This thing doesn't work in stella on the mac, any suggestions? Thanks -
this is Dale from AtariCart. What a great idea, making overlays. Can you send me a high res (600 dpi ) scan of the cart and any other materials you might have for this game. Also, if yor willing, send me high res scans of any other overlays so I can match the designs. I might get these printed up later and as a thank I would be happy to give you a couple for free for helping out. I'll see what I can do. Great Idea. Dale
