  1. this is Dale from AtariCart. What a great idea, making overlays. Can you send me a high res (600 dpi ) scan of the cart and any other materials you might have for this game. Also, if yor willing, send me high res scans of any other overlays so I can match the designs. I might get these printed up later and as a thank I would be happy to give you a couple for free for helping out. I'll see what I can do. Great Idea. Dale
  2. sweet, thanks, I guess my pic is usless now
  3. Maybe this will help. I pretty bad with names so correct me if I'm wrong.
  4. Well, I for one had a great time attending my first PC4 convention. My first gaming convention as a matter of fact. Albert was great and it was a pleasure meeting everyone at the show, that goes a little extra for Tempest, we dueled it out each night in a snoring competition. Everyone was incredibly nice, except for that jerk Stan (just kidding) and I can't wait for the next show, I will be reinacting this one until then and probably won't stop bragging on how I managed to drive nearly 24 hours to Philly with Albert, just about non-stop. That really is a great picture, and if you notice Joe Grand just happens to be sporting my buttons on his name badge. Thanks Joe! I can't wait to see everyone again.
  5. Thats crazy, there must be a ton of repackaged Star Ships out there, we already have three anyone else have some other Star Ship clone floating around (no pun intended)
  6. What, no comments on the label! It's an amazing concept if I do say so myself and what is this, a new logo for sunmark, all kinds of goodness going on over at sunmark.com. Both of these games are incredibly interesting and your right, this is an great price, two for one. Keep up the great work.
  7. I posted the review but decided to leave mine up since I had so much support inthis forum. Though if any of you have more opinions of other reviews I am more than willing to post them, this is by no means a one sided website, I welcome other peoples thoughts and ideas. I appreciate the review from Godzilla, and look forward to any others from the people in this forum. Please note the website is AtariCart not AtariToday I would hate for Matthew over at AtariToday to get mad at me for people knocking a review that didn't even reside on his site. Thanks Dale AtariCart.com
  8. Remember those Activision lables that were going to be produced to replace your Actiplaqued Activision labels? Well, they are now online at AtariCart.com for your viewing pleasure. These labels will be in production very soon and will come complete with a reproduction tag so as not to be duped by some mal-intentioned ebay seller claiming they have a perfect collection of Activision games. Please stop by the site and check them out. Also to be released will be a poste of all the labels. http://www.ataricart.com

    Coming soon

Thanks for all the great responses to the labels, I had no idea they would be this well received. This is Dale from over at AtariCart.com, were I did the work on these three labels, I haven't posted them to the site yet, in fact, I haven't posted hardly any of the new labels or manuals to the site yet since I have been so busy doing label and manual work. I'm really glad everyone is enjoying the new designs and I hope to continue doing this sort of work in the future. If anyone out there needs any gaming artwork for an upcoming project please feel free to stop by the site and check out the growing portfolio and send us an email. www.AtariCart.com Thanks Dale
  10. Hey everyone, this is Dale. I worked on the icons and the new layout of the site, I'm glad to see everyone is liking the changes and such to the forum. I was happy to see the great responses, although I suppose that modem was a bit on the shady side. The reasoning behind the modem had to do with people being connected, to the internet and interacting with others, and unfortunatly most modern modems look less like modems and more like answering machines so we went with this version which included the ear and receiver cups. The inclusion of those parts, to me, at least gave it away. Anyone out there watch "War Games" with Matthew Broderick lately. Regardless it seemed like the natural choice since it had the most definition and wasn't just a box. I want to take a moment and thank ATARIMANIA who took about twenty pictures of this coupler modem when I couldn't find a single one anywhere. (I told you that you would notice when I used it) Thanks for the help. Please stop by My website at www.ataricart.com to see more classic gaming artwork. We are in progress of getting out a collection of gaming clipart which is almost complete as well as several other surprises. Dale Crum
  11. Well, I had no idea this post was still around and I actually forgot about until a minute ago. In case anyone was wondering what happened to those Activision labels and would like to, at the very least, just look at them stop by my website AtariCart.com and head over to the replication section. They are all there plus a couple extras, I also ended up redoing all the blue, white and black text labels but doubt that I will be putting those up on the site. Things are definitley in the works for these labels, but like Albert says, patience. AtariCart has been working with AtariAge pretty closely in the past few months and we have made some very interesting items, one of which is the Koffi manual. I was very glad to see the great reaction to it in the 5200 forum (and I apologize for not putting that white on the fox's tail ) That was definitley one of my personal favorites. AtariCart will soon be opening a new section of the site for manuals with full color images of each page so don't worry. (that is unless A;bert beats me to it ) Dale http://www.ataricart.com
  12. Im sorry I didn't catch this sooner. Im a graphic designer doing a ton of Atari related things right now and I just so happened to have reworked the lynx logo. I didn't add color to it but I suppose if you need a color version you could specify. Tell me what file type you would like and I can send you the biggest or the smallest lynx logo you've ever seen! and it's all vector. Also if you specify which fonts you're looking for I could at least give you some font names, and you pick them off the internet for free. send me a message if you're still interested. www.ataricart.com[/url]
  13. ok, so i tried it out on the PC and it works, as in i can get to different levels and switch games styles (color mode etc) but i can never seem to put out the fires, where is the rain? and how do i know if koffi's water tank has something in it. i have never seen rain nor snow. why is this.
  14. I have a question, I tried out Koffi in the Rainbow emulator and can't seem to make the game do anything. All that happens is Koffi is able to fly around the title screen. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
  15. Sweet mother, of all that is holy, Thank you so much. I won't be needing the phone in the picture, but thanks for the concern. I just want the modem all by it self no cords or power supplies or anything. The angle I need the modem at is the same angle as the picture of the 830 modem on this website http://oldcomputers.net/atari800.html. I would like the modem to be on a white background (preferably) and as clear and clean as you can possibly get it (as in no photo blurs or hairs in the picture) You don't have to actually clean the modem, although if want to that's fine. I would also really like the modem scanned or digitally photoed at the highest resolution possible. I have a T1 line so anything you send at any size is good to go. REMEMBER: I need a big, clear picture Must be at this exact angle Bigger is much better Thank you so much and start thinking about which Activision label you would like to recieve. These are the highly anticipated Reproduction labels that I have been working on. The website I created for displaying all of these labels is almost complete!
  16. I will be glad to trade you one reproduction Activision label of your choice for this item. I will send you the file to print out however you want, correct size and ready to go, in exchange for one sinple photograph of your Atari 830 modem. Just a little incentive!
  17. I realize that this is not a 2600 topic, but these are desperate times. I am looking for a large clear picture of an Atari 830 Coupler Modem. I need this item to finalize a project. I would prefer you actually posessed this item and could take digital pictures of it. Please email me If you have one and would be willing to take a second and snap a few shots of it. NOTE: Please email me before taking any pictures, the modem needs to be at a specific angle. (I have some examples of this) Any help would be greatly appreciated and duely noted. Thank you so much
  18. hey thanks. It's nice to get some feedback. I will definitely keep everyone informed of the progress
  19. Here is the final product. I hope everyone likes this. I can only hope to soon produce these baddies on good high gloss sticky paper so everyone has the chance to get them. Follow the link to see all the labels on a one sheet. I though it would be nice also to have a poster of this set to ship out as an additional bonus for those willing to purchase all the labels in a set. How many people out there would like to have these labels anyway? here's the link: http://clunkmusichall.com/actart/ActivisionGames.gif
  20. Holy sweet mother of ...., I have finished yes finished all 33 activision labels. I have painstakenly redrawn all of them. I know in about four days someone will post in here that they found all the original art, and that will totally suck because I have driven myself insane to get these things drawn and out of my mind forever. Well, not forever. But hey its an accomplishment I'm proud to say I managed. I will be posting a mini poster of all the labels, hopefully tomorrow to show everything off. I'm still in the works of possibly getting permission to sell or give these out for free, maybe as prizes. If that is the case and noone will be getting sued I would very much like to get back in touch with Atari 7800.com about geting these printed up, (Sorry for the lack of communication guys) Hey by the way if anyone talks to Albert tell him he should email me (HINT HINT) Anyone there?
  21. Does anyone out there have a 5200 system they would like to sell. I would like it to be in working conditiona and have at least one controller, original is not necessary. I don't want to spend the $50 that Packrat and other websites are asking and I have some 2600 games to trade. Also looking to pick up some 7800 controllers or decent substitutes any thoughts on this part? Thanks Dale
  22. Wowzers!, I haven't been posting in a while. I have nearly completed theentire standard line of Activision labels, I have roughly 11 more to go and the whole thing is finished. I still need to discuss whether or not this is truely legal to sell or even reproduce these things, especially since activision is still around, I don't want to make them made. But I will be posting the entire standard label line within a couple of weeks sporting all the wonderful designs. They look really cool all lined up and pretty soon I will have larger versions on my website. But thats another story. I haven't finished that either. Anyway, just an update.
  23. I would love to get to the bottom of the actiplaque myself. I hate the stuff. Regarding updates on the labels though I have added River Raid, Megamania, Checkers and Bridge. I will try to posta new picture soon.
  24. ok so here are small versions of my entries, animated. that's all she wrote. I don't know why mine didn't make it. Thanks for helping to get my entries guys.
  25. Hey, that's unfair your missing almost all of my animals! I sent in a girafee, a fox a skunk, a deer, a turtle, a whale and an elephant. I turned mine in way early too. Were they disqualified for some reason? I spent so much time on these. I guess I will post mine here then since I was left out. These are bigger so you can see them all, I will try to animate them. I wish I could have been included too.
