Got a kidney stone. Excruciating pain led to the ER yesterday. on meds now, minimal pain. just waiting for it to pass

  I've had that. That hurts hugely. It is like a knife in your side. Drink lots of water and take your meds. You will get through it.

  The comedian Jeff Foxworthy mentioned about how bad it was having to pass one. He said as excruciating as it was to actually pee it out, it was quite a relief to the internal pain it caused.
