OK, well I got the games to run. But now they're all running at like 5x the normal speed!

Guys, I downloaded the XP version of RetroArch (thanks.) I loaded the core emulators. Now what? I've been using Launchbox on my actual PC for so long that I don't remember how to launch the games in Retroarch in XP. Do I need a front end program for this? I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing next.

You wouldn't think this would be hard, but I'm having trouble finding actual links to working emulators for the 2600, NES, and SNES. I can find current versions of all the popular emulators, but they don't work on Windows XP. Anyone got any suggestions?
