I would love to see a 7800 version of Frantic Freddie with beautiful pokey tunes.

By original do you mean V1 of the 7800? Or any 7800 box from the 80s-90s?

As it is getting closer to the release date, maybe a register of serial numbers would be in order?

I see a potential for confusion if they market it as “compatible with 2600+/7800”

I just bought a new TV myself this past week. I couldn’t find any instructions for hooking up a device to conventional analog signal. So as a test I hooked up the Atari and powered it on then had the tv scan for new. Channels. Since I disconnected the antenna to do this, it was unable to find any digital channels, then it it started to scan for analog signals. It found channel 3 and kept scanning for more channels. After it was done i got a new channel and the Atari displayed perfectly. As an added feature, channel 3 is now on the program guide and I can use that to go straight to that channel. Typing 3 on the remote doesn’t seem to work on it’s own.

I was able to downgrade to the Hokey version from a few days earlier. I wasn’t sure it would let me, but all is good now.

If this version was installed on a unit with a Hokey, would there be any problem? I flashed mine using it, and I’ve got a Hokey instead of a Pokey.

3a still crashes at launch for me.

Same here. I can't get beta 3 to launch on my 2015 MBPro. Beta 2 still works on Monterey. Successfully updated to build 21523 totally skipped the 21423

As a new owner of a Concerto, I thought I would mention I was able to get mine updated from the displayed .94a with the help from this post. I did not have to remove the HOKEY. I did have to use the newer version of the 2.0 beta 2 software as the earlier did not recognize the cartridge. My MacOS is Monterey on a 2015 MacBook Pro (Intel).

I just received my cart this week, and it reports 0.94a. Is the daily build considered alpha? Or, is final? I thought thru reading it was a test to see if it fixed a variety of issues. Will the next full release going to be 0.97? Or something like 0.96a?

S/n A1 05 5511565. If you look at the label you will see another label underneath it. I bought the item new from Oddlots back in the early 90s. It does not have the expansion opening or hardware on the board.
