  3. Hi Guys, For those interested, i still have a number of copies (both Coleco/US and CBS/PAL style) available! PM me or email me at sales (at) revival-studios.com to aquire your copy. For those interested in new releases for the Colecovision, please be a little more patient. Since i write my own stuff instead of 'borrowing' copyrighted MSX games these take a little more time to produce I hope to have my next game 'Shifted' out this summer. Kind regards, Martijn / Revival Studios
  4. @pootle Thanks for being a great sport. And yes, a simple styled Colorclash would be very doable as well in less than an hour I usually waste way too much time in polishing, music, etc... Worst offenders are Debris Revisited and Shifted, i literally spend months and months perfecting those @mkiker2089 - Yes, as a SMS collector (complete EU collection) i would love to release a master system Astrododge, its about 70% done at this point. Please all hassle Madtronix about finishing his SMS pcb designs so i can release it Also, i really would like to get back to some vectrex projects this year, but the last few months i've been incredibly busy with my indie-games projects for PC and nextgen (follow me at @bitstormgames or facebook.com/bitstormgames for more info). Not sure if Stip! will see a release any time soon since doing overlays is a lot of work, but there are a few projects laying around since 2008 that need a final touch so they can get out there
  5. Hi, John is right. I made this clone years ago after taking on (and winning) a bet where i said this game could be written in 30 minutes. It was never released before since it was a result of a bet rather than an actual release of some sort, but i gave john permission to include it onto his multicart when he asked. I think i based it off screenshots that were available before the release, so i would assume the building and such would look a bit different as i really didn't put a lot of time into writing the game. - Martijn PS> Just let me stress there is nothing wrong with blitz-type games itself, because there are fun and i even made a similar type of game for the odyssey2 a little while ago.
  6. This game is designed in such a way that practice does make perfect. A score of 2000 is definitely possible. The MSX scores are a bit higher because of a running competition, so more people took the extra effort Glad you enjoy the game! Martijn
  7. As chip8 developer and admin of http://www.chip8.com that also covers the RCA studio II i tried writing a cross-assembler for chip8 to S2. A very hard job to do (especially since the sprite drawing is done so differently). I managed to get it working but it is too slow to be usable. I develop for a lot of classic gaming systems (coleco, vectrex, odyssey2, commodore, sinclair , sega and more. See http://www.revival-studios.com for more info). If there is enough interest i am happy to provide high quality homebrews for this system. Please register your interest at info (@) revival-studios .com
  8. My sega #sc3000 arrived today! Looks great and works well with my astrododge game for the #sg1000.

  9. Thank you guys for all the feedback. I was pleased with the box quality myself (they were printed professionally), especially for my first effort although i do have a few small improvements for next time. Also all the assembly takes a lot of my time (that i cant spend on developing) so i will look into ways to streamline this as well. As for the hidden gameplay mode. You have to fiddle around in the main menu until you hear a special sound, after this the hidden mode is unlocked and you can get the achievement as well after playing a game in this mode.
  10. Hi Guys, Although i do send out a monthly newsletter with the latest updates about the game, i am sorry for not being able to inform each and everyone personally with the latest state on shipping (if have to find a way to better organise my emails i guess ) but i can tell you guys this: Every paid-for copy is on its way in shipment. This also means any new orders i should be able to ship pretty quickly. My experience is that shipping-times can vary between 5 and 15 working days, in some rare cases a bit longer, so expect the game to drop on you doormat soon. I am glad those that already have their copy enjoy it, It is always exciting to start development for a new platform and this game was certainly a great experiencing developing it. It is ofcourse much more work developing a game from scratch than doing a conversion of an existing game done by other companies. The experience i gained will surely help me with upcoming colecovision projects. Thanks everyone for the support! You guys have been great. Martijn
