  1. You can get on their list by emailing homebrewinc@hotmail.com 🙂
  2. I'm thrilled to be able to announce Homebrew, Inc.'s newest release! While I'd REALLY appreciate you guys watching the video (helps me a lot), for those who don't like that kinda thing, the new game is Nanochess' Pumpkin Trilogy. It's planned launch date is October 1st this year, and if you want to contact them to get on their radar when it comes out you can reach them at homebrewinc@hotmail.com I know a lot of people, myself included, have wanted a physical release of these games so here it is!
  3. It fits fine in mine. Maybe your Intellivoice is a bit tight?
  4. The volatility of the Canadian dollar is killing us collectors up here. Lol That said, if you like puzzle games you'll get a good amount of play out of this one. The last level took me an hour to figure out!
  5. My experience with the swaps out here is that they're mostly retro, but also mostly Nintendo. Tonnes of NES, SNES, N64, ect. Not a lot before that. You can find smatterings of it, I got a whole bunch of my CIB Intellivision from one, but for guys like me that are looking mostly for pre-NES, you really have to hunt. The best ones were the Waterloo swap back in the day. The Barrie swap I've heard is the biggest and best nowadays. But ya, one thing that I was thrilled with at PRGE when I went was there was SO MUCH pre-NES at the show. Loved it.
  6. Their site is now promoting the October one, but this is their site: https://www.torontogameexpo.ca/
  7. I wish I could go! I miss Vancouver... I also missed the Toronto one last weekend. Gonna save my $ for PRGE if I can, but hopefully one day I'll make it out!
  8. Glad it's finally available to the masses! I still think Donna is a gold digger though. Lol
  9. Geeze, I should have spent more time at the booth!!! Lol
  10. Lol, ya. But I'm looking more at the complete package. Nicely 3D printed shell with a graphic inset, thick manual with the history of the game and the mindset of the programmer included, art print and sheet music printed on a nice plastic material, 3D printed figure, big box that looks great on a shelf. Exactly what you'd expect from a "collector's edition" and therefore a solid candidate in any packaging category.
  11. I never thought that my raw footage would ever be interesting to an audience, but now that I know there are people out there who would prefer that to some random guy's opinion I'll start adding the footage as a companion to my reviews. 👍
  12. I don't think I have enough of the 2022 releases to really make a fair guess, but the Norseman deluxe package from Cote Gamers is definitely a great candidate for best packaging. REALLY nice. Only game I have that may be a competitor to it is Inflitrator with it's included CD.
  13. Everything should have a woodgrain option! 😆
  14. DM him on Facebook. That's how I ordered mine.
  15. 100% the first HoF entry should be 4-Tris. I don't think HoF entries need to be locked to winners or even nominees of past years. HoF is a great way to recognize influential and awesome games of the past regardless of how they were received at the time. That said, definitely a place for past winners such as D2K and Christmas Carol. 👍👍👍
  16. Just saw this today, limited to 150 copies! https://www.facebook.com/commerce/listing/102991179408221/?media_id=0&ref=share_attachment
  17. Fantastic idea. I'm doing your Norseman next week so we can add that. 2022 was a banger year for Inty homebrew!
  18. Even if the capacitors aren't the problem, you should replace them. If they're bulging they don't have much time left if they're still working at all.
  19. 1000% If someone managed to get Battle Chess on the Intellivision I'd be thrilled. Lol
  20. Check out my review on GoSub, might be more up your alley.
  21. Re: Amico, my personal opinion is that they bit off way more than they could chew and then quickly got in over their heads. Nothing external affected it with any real weight. If they had embraced that this was going to be a niche thing with a small audience they could have worked with that. Instead they went crazy with all kinds of promises with no way to fulfil them based on the idea that it would be the next big thing. Aside from the controllers, which are apparently underpowered and buggy, the Amico wasn't offering anything not already provided by something else. I had hope for it, I've always loved the oddball stuff, but odds of it ever making it to market are almost zero. NOW! If you're an Intellivision fan there are LOADS of great homebrew titles out there. 2022 was kind of a banger year for the community with tonnes of new releases from the likes of Intellivision Revolution, Intellivision Collector, Elektronite, Blah Blah Woof Woof, Cote Gamers, and more. There's a whole world of refreshed nostalgia out there for you.
