    I have the 2600-dapter PDL. I'm having an issue that requires me to disconnect paddles at times (I won't go into that unless necessary). My question is, if I put a switch on pin 7 between the paddles and the dapter, can I just switch off the paddles when not in use and turn back on when needed without any issue? Is there anything in the ROM that would require the paddles to be on when RetroPie starts? Ed
