Just remember that the person who graduates nursing school with the lowest score is still a nurse and the same for doctors. Sounds like a rough ride. Glad you made it through. My girlfriend just had two of those addressed on her back. The dermatologist did it outpatient and put her on a course of broad-spectrum antibiotics.

[Health update]

That can be just as dangerous as liver failure due to alcohol abuse. If you are indeed diagnosed with fatty liver, please consider taking the treatment advice seriously. Ultrasounds do not hurt at all, the jelly can be cold and you have to wipe up afterwards, but that's the worst of it. Hope it turns out ok, best of luck.
