  1. I'm still getting used to this wonderful site. I've got a lot of exploring left to do, but I cannot seem to find a bookmark capability. I'd like to be able to maintain an index of posts that have meaningful information. This feature is available in other technical forums and I make extensive use of it. If I've simply missed it, please let me know.
  2. Added to my watchlist. One way or the other they will sell.
  3. @Albert Thanks for the site and all the hard work. AtariAge has a new subscriber.

Can my loss be someone else's loss? Looking for someone to pay my mortgage specifically. :D

Looking for a lack of interest? Doesn't that go against your principle?

@bent_pinAwesome bent. Were glad to have you aboard and having fun at the same time. From discussions on Atari, Garfield, Coffee, you name it. A pleasure to have you as a member and looking forward to seeing more of your postings in the immediate future. :)

So you're about to publish an Atari game. Cool bro. Hope to see you venture in other units. Like my favorite...The Neo-Geo. :)

      Anthony..

Can I offer you a reading, sir?

I think you should know the answer to that question.

  5. Yes, ask me for details on the 4th of July
  6. Well, at least we know they can't sue us successfully if we release games for any of the vintage systems. Perhaps a better version of a similar game could be released before then.
  7. Really? I've got teenage students who can write a half dozen fun games in the same time frame. I shouldn't be so negative though, because it is quite cool that they are paying the OG VCS some love.
  8. meh and it's $60 Rather buy 2 carts from @Albert and support a smaller programmer.
  9. Sorry about your loss. I don't need these but I hope you find a good home for them. There's a few quality items there.
  10. If I had two nickles for every dime, there'd be some change around here.

  11. @TGB1718 The seller offered a discount. They are now a mere $5,750 each, and the still include free overnight shipping.
  12. I see. Then that's a policy question for a mod. I hope you can display what you'd like to. Best of luck.
  13. Got my first atariage sticker. Trying to figure out where to stick it.

Now I need two stickers so I can face one each way.

After I finish my current deals, I will probably get the Zen special on AA homebrews.

  14. I'm quite envious of your supercharger 8, 9, and 10. I've got 1-7 and Stella gets a new brain, but to have the remaining cassettes to display would be something else. I get how easy it is to go overboard and want to buy everything. I have to constantly check myself to stick to 2600, 5200, and 7800. I have 3 pending deals and then I'll have to check my completeness according to your scale. You have or have had a fine collection. Thank you for sharing.
  15. Is the site built on a paid platform, similar to discourse?
  16. I would be angry if someone posted my disassembled code, regardless of the age, and I would consider that actionable. Maybe not winnable, but actionable none the less. Further, it possibly endangers this wonderful site. Just my opinion though. Your project sounds very useful, but couldn't you demonstrate it by disassembling your own code samples?
  17. It's easy to copy a link instead of the image and pasting either one will show the image. I recommend changing the auto-insert from link functionality to prevent more broken image links. I'd even consider going so far as to pop up a warning.
  18. One of my 6th graders is currently modeling 2D kinematics in scratch. He loves basketball and this seemed like a great idea for a lesson.

  19. And it's reversable. You can go any route with the new clock, just be sure that no components are left from the old one as you need to reduce inductance. I don't like the original circuit and I think the circuit traces might have degraded a bit, too.
  20. I'd just make a new clock circuit on a daughter board, then pull the components for the existing clock so you can tap it in.
  21. Yup, I get broken ones for about $10-12 shipping included. Much rather save something from the landfill or from gold reclamation. Hey, at least they include free one-day shipping for your 25 large.
  22. Quantify reasonable offers for Atari JRs
  23. https://www.ebay.com/itm/185692732871 Anyone want a $12,500 Atari JR? In that case, why buy one when you can have two for twice the price?
  24. I now have copies of both of these carts. I'm always in the market for a few more with nice labels.
