  1. @batari Has the programmer from champ games corrected his ROMs? Would getting a reissue from him fix @JOD-I's problems?
  2. Garfield on laziness

Was Garfield talking to Jim Davis his creator?

Yes, he goes meta and talks to Jim or breaks the 4th wall from time to time.

  3. No, it's quite easy, but the more proof and paperwork that you have, the easier it is. I have had one claim rejected for lack of before and after documentation, but that was probably because the buyer was raising a stink on their end. When a specific amount was not specified and priority insurance is claimed, they do require a receipt as proof of value.
  4. Makes me think of a programming language, not a gaming console.
  5. Sounds like an opportunity to add something there.
  6. Thank you, the computer will work, but nothing else will be of benefit. Still happy to send the computer.
  7. @Albert I'd be happy to volunteer a box of vintage goodies to get him back on his feet. They may have a crack or two, but they'll run perfectly. I even have a nice i3 PC that I can toss in for good measure.
  8. Send the label but do not accept the return. Ask the buyer to use the original box and packing material. Not critical but it helps. Wait for it to come back. Check the board. If it's not yours, file an appeal with ebay. You have a 50/50 chance on the appeal. If it is your board, accept the return, refund the buyer, and file a claim with the post office. You'll need the original tracking number and the ebay transaction report showing how much was paid. Take it into your post office to file a claim. They will issue you a check for up to $100 for the item, less the shipping cost. You have to turn over the damaged item, so it may or may not be worth it.
  9. Make sure the buyer can send the switch back. They may be lying about it if they don't. That is the only way that I can think of to prove your case, if you actually have one.
  10. Now I'll need to do a deeper dig into Sally to see if they are there and how they react. I'm thinking I'll probably just write an organized fuzzer. Boy did I follow the path leading this thread off-topic.
  11. These align with many ham radio bands. Suitable replacements should be cheap and plentiful.
  12. That I have in abundance.
  13. For completeness any 6507 clone should include all utilized codes, documented or not. I was not aware that they had been removed from the Maria, thanks for that, it's useful in a project of mine.
  14. I have virtually every ROM, dozens of homebrews, and close to 1000 unique carts for the 2600 alone. I think I can make an accurate assessment, especially after my next order arrives. If the silicon runs it, is it really illegal?
  15. I will test with all the homebrews that I have using my encode and make a thread about it.
  16. I've had no issues with the units on which I've replaced them so far, including pacman jr. With what other games should I test them.
  17. Sometimes lessons cost us money. Did you ship ground advantage or priority? Priority has $100 insurance automatically. Glad to hear that you are considering both sides. Stern but fair is important. I take an additional photo with the lot, showing the serial number, along with the printed label. All auctions should show the top and bottom of the unit, along with the unit working with a cart that should also be included with the lot. Always ship priority or with insurance. Let me know if you need a new board for that case. I have several.
  18. Indeed. I have a pile of each and some fresh TIAs too.
  19. I'd love to participate this year. I've loads of great stuff from all of my purchases this year.
  20. Got all but commando. All great titles!
