I'm working on a few projects and I need a small pile of 6502Cs. I am not looking to sacrifice otherwise working machines on the altar of progress. Looking to buy or trade for them.

I'll replace the switch next time I get to the hardware store.

Before we get too into advanced troubleshooting, lets start with the simple stuff. Is your TV NTSC, PAL and does the 7800 match? If unsure about the 7800, post a picture of the bottom plate. What channel is the TV on? What channel is the RF switch on? That is, is it towards the RF port or away from it? What game cartridge were you using and how do you know that it works?

Please make a thread when you get to selling. A few tons of games is just what the doctor ordered.

Exactly, I missed that part. If someone messaged me first and I wasn't loosing out on too much, I'd certainly consider letting it slide. Hasn't happened yet but 10 retractions is not that much.

To get the best pictures, use good lighting, not a flash. Hold your camera a bit further away than you did and use a bit of zoom, as your camera doesn't seem to have a macro focus. Feel free to post too many pictures from too many angles.

Could also be a short with the mod further down the line. Pictures of the top and bottom of all of your solder joints would help. Did you build the mod or did it arrive assembled?

You wouldn't be the first to be surprised by that. They start on scratch, then python, then assembly before moving on to micro controllers and C++. It helps them understand binary as switches and really opens up their minds when it comes to just-in-time programming, management of limited resources, and computer architecture. Also, when you tell them that they are going to program games they work a lot harder. Most of my students eventually go into engineering programs at schools like Purdue, Stanford, and UC Berkeley to name a few.

I have quite a few 2600 copies. Not the same, but you can have one for the cost of shipping.

I have 4 students learning 2600 ASM twice a week right now. Working on expanding that.
