  1. So does bidirectional scrolling require special hardware like Nintendo does?
  2. Neither looks bad at all. but the 320 version looks dangerously close to colecovision lol
  3. Hope I can grab one. Tired of not being able to play 60% of the roms on my SD card lol
  4. I have 3 different copies of Berzerk that don't work in my 2600, yet they all work in my 7800.
  5. Just realized those graphics are from Crownland lol would love to play that on the 7800 (NTSC) 😃
  6. You never know. Yeah, even the SMS version doesn't look super great, and the NES version looks like a CGA game on the IBM PC. It would be a serious hardware pusher for sure. The 7800 probably has more grunt than the Amstrad CPC, and that version looks great. If they can make the CPC version look that good, it can look good on the 7800. I don't know how the color works on the 7800, but can't it do 25 on screen at once? The 8-bit (and 16-bit) versions have use 10 to 16 colors, and still look great. I'm sure it could be figured out lol
  7. Scored this on ebay recently, in it's original box, both serial numbers match. Has the expansion port. It's in brand new condition, still has the peely on the face plate. The cartridge port has no issue accepting carts, much better than my newer model which is an A1 82 model.
  8. I see, yeah it fits some enemies for sure and you're most welcome! Can't wait!
  9. Seen it! it looks more detailed and colorful than the arcade version. The only thing that looked rough was the enemy movement, and the vertical scrolling. Other than that, it's beautiful! I could see the love and passion pouring out of this port! Appreciate the hard work you are doing, dude!
  10. So I wanted to play the 7800 DD, and so picked up a physical copy. And it actually plays REALLY well. And also doesn't looked nearly as bad on a real TV, not stretched to hell and back. It also helps to play it with this controller
  11. I want the first 2 double dragon games ported to the 7800, as well as the 2 contra games! Lol also would like to see all the Castlevania games ported, even rondo of blood, cuz of that pokey chip cover video.
  12. Tried to remedy the green picture issue by connecting it through a VCR so I could send it through an upscaler, and fix the colors, and while it made the image brighter, it still looks green, and the imagine seems to go "out of sync" or something every 20 seconds or so.
  13. Yup mine looks pretty close to the shots on the far right, I was afraid my 7800's RF output was dying lol I was messing with the tint on my TV.
  14. Is that why 7800 games look greenish when connected directly to an LCD?
  15. What also sucks is Time Warner ditching Atari rather then trying rebuild the brand. The 7800 would have been a good time to do that.
  16. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. He's a skilled guy!
  17. I saw that listing, and wanted it as well, but knew the price would blow up lol
  18. Very cool game so far! I got through the first 2 bosses, and and having a great time great stuff!
  19. Sweet game. Will try it out later tonight. Need games like this on the 7800 for sure! 😀
  20. Nice, thanks for digging up this interview. an interesting look into FFL, and the jag.
  21. Yeah I guess you have a point. My own point was, the game looks surprisingly good considering the development hell it had. Could it have looked anything like VF2 if a really good team were behind it. But like you said, no way to know
  22. So I heard this game was done by 1 person, and was able to get texture mapped fighters. How much better could the game look if a highly skilled competent team had made the game?
