[N8 Clone black screen]

So I have an N8 clone and it black screens on every boot. I have tried multiple OS from krizz etc and nothing will boot. Tried resets to get the CIC to lock in and nothing. The PCB has power and the leds light up but nothing. Anyone got a working SD card file set they could send or something? Its a KY technologies PCB.

Got another membrane and it works fine for a bit. If you leave the console to sit after play it won't power back on after a few hours. If you remove the batteries for a few hours and let it sit without them, then reinstall after a few hours, it will power on again. Looks like some sort of capacitor issues. Gonna try a console 5 kit on it.

So I have a dead retro 6 membrane, power switch no longer works, out of no where. Anyone else have this? I can still power on the system with 5v to the cap so it is fine. System has a new style LCD in it (some chinese one) so I have removed most of the 9v lcd circuit but the rest of the system is there. I have not tried the 5v to cap and run a game yet to see if the other buttons are bad yet.

It wasn't too hard of an install for me. The issue is you need to solder as well as modify the plastics to fit the new LCD, just cutting and filing. I got the kit of ebay.

Most definately just a bad LCD. Now to put her back together.

Seems like a bad lcd looking at the right hand side issues which those pixels do not change. Has 5v constant supply. Contacts all cleaned. 31 to 33 mod to power on. I can change the volume up and down. No games to test right now. No bad looking caps.
