  1. Great write-up!!
  2. Yeah, if I've got 25 minutes free time for gaming l, I want to spend as many of those minutes gaming as possible, not waiting for loading or cut scenes or updates
  3. Loading, updates and mandatory tutorials is what turned me completely off modern gaming. I'll play Atari or arcade games rather than anything new
  4. I've never mentioned this before, but I am fond of a good Maze Shooter
  5. As soon as I get 7800 Berzerk, I'll let you know. How about you?
  6. H.E.R.O seems more fun, gameplay wise. I've not had as much time as I'd like to play them if I'm honest. (Too busy playing Frenzy!!)
  7. I have an original PAL 7800, and I've got the 7800+, and the 7800+ in my opinion is much better. Over the years, I've tried my original PAL 7800 on literally dozens of TVs / monitors and I could never get a good picture from it, including on lots of different CRTs. Always I get a fuzzy image and poor colour representation The 7800+, in my experience, has loaded every single game I've tried on it (PAL & NTSC, 2600 & 7800). If there are any issues with emulation or latency from the wireless controller then they are totally undetectable to me. The only issue i could see that someone could have with it, is that there is a few seconds "loading" before the game starts. After that, zero issues at all. The loading time is much less than starting up a game on Switch / PS4 etc, but I guess it is longer than you would have on original hardware. I hope you enjoy your system, happy gaming!
  8. I've been playing some recent pickups that were released towards the end of the 2600's (original) lifespan, and technically they're superb. Specifically H.E.R.O and Kung Fu Master are way more technically impressive than I expected
  9. Hopefully we won't need to wait too long until they're released 🤞
  10. Have the tried using the run button?
  11. I hear that the real pros don't just make custom labels, but custom cart shells also. There was a really fantastic artisan level Turmoil cart I saw at one point on here
  12. I received this today. It was listed as "untested" but it works perfectly, so I'm happy about that
