[Qb Label Contest!]

Congrats to all the winners! Especially Dave, excellent work.

 

My other personal favorite was Keith Erickson's. The label's just so lively, and the colors are so vibrant against the black background. I also dug Christina Yambo's #2. She made a 3D pineapple, how can you not respect that? I was really rooting for my #2 to place, but oh well. The contest was a blast.

Take that back. I'm not really sure what font he's using. But I think the actual font Atari used on those carts is Bauhus.

Mike Tinnes, that font Dale Crum is using for 'game program' and 'using joystick controller', I'm almost certain is Bauhus. Its a commercial font, so you're going to have to dish out some cash to get a hold of it yourself.

 

Anyways.. I just ran across this AtariAge site today, and I'm amazed at how strong a following the Atari systems still have. I prefer the NES myself, but I do like to break out the 2600 occasionally. Well I'll be submitting a couple of label designs shortly so look out.
