  1. I heard a rumor Star Raiders was working today on some beta 7800+ firmware that was flying around.
  2. Very much so. Bear in mind sales volumes for our carts is of a niche nature. And that requires careful management by us as a supplier and of course retailers that take the risk of ordering relatively obscure games well in advance Although we've been in this game now for a year, it to me still feels like early days and we haven't yet hit a truly confident stride. 2025 will be the year that gives us the benchmarks to hopefully make the product pipeline that satisfies me, something where I can say I'm happy.
  3. Note that shipments to territories are set many months in advance of manufacture and delivery. It's early days but it seems that there is strong retail demand for 7800+ consoles and games. What's been nice also is recent strong demand for 2600+ machines. They are physical items with complex supply chains from manufacture to retail. In some cases, demand outstrips supply. Restocking lines is a matter of 3 to 6 months. I'm following it all and a clear picture will become clearer over the next few weeks and we will make or not decisions to remanufacture lines. I'm in a hold position till more information is available to me.
  4. This is an interesting and pertinent comment. With all the noise around the current releases, it may seem like a will they or won't they situation in terms of the go forward. I know that we have a very strong start with the 2600+ and as far as can see this continues with the 7800+. Today I have meetings about a road map that continues throughout 2025. It doesn't seem to me that anything else but building on the foundation that has been set is what people should expect going forward. Investments in future products are being made now and I look forward to sharing them over the foreseeable future. I'm cautiously optimistic.
  5. Really smooth, good to see thanks for posting
  6. We've been working on Star Raiders today. Like I said we know people like yourself want it.
  7. Watched it earlier, thanks Packaging difference you noted is simply North American vs International SKU
  8. I'm working on this and will get everything upto date soon.
  9. The official links will be updated shortly.
  10. The shipped 7800+ have firmware labelled as 2.0 or 2.0.1 depending on when they were manufactured. They are basically a version of experimental 1.6. Note that the experimental naming has been replaced with Beta and has the version of 2.0.1.1 for the recently released 2600+ firmware. There is an intention to bring more clarity/synergy to the version numbering of Beta versions and Officially released ones as they are basically one and the same thing. 2600+ and 7800+ firmware will be the same with latest builds. There is a 7800+ 2.0.1.1 firmware awaiting release that is the same as the 2600+ one. The caveat here is that 7800+ firmware has added controller compatibility for driving controller, increased paddle resolution, Trackball TB mode implementation and keypad. The process of updating your 2600+ or 7800+ will be the same but with different files. Omega race will work on your 7800+ out of the box, I will double check this though tomorrow.
  11. Yes. Up to date 2600+ software will be published on the official Atari site over the next few days.
  12. Hi, below are the links to the latest builds, these will resolve your issue Firmware: https://forums.atariage.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=1173321&key=b1047ddc1069ca572beff304c5c7ea13 Dumper: https://forums.atariage.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=1173323&key=38fc3dd4a83d514ab118ead6a2bce3c9
  13. Indeed, I keep seeing this crop up and I immediately recall our conversations and think this isn't really the case now. The statements on prosystem 1.3 are made based on information I provided way back, it needs rectifying.
