  1. Power Drive 2000 looks like it could be fun when it's completed.
  2. The AC/DC Kickstarter page has these target platforms. I'm surprised the Wii-U is on the list. That would suggest they're either reusing a lot of TPA code or they're full of crap for the millionth time. Target Platforms Android iOS Steam (PC / Mac) PS4 Xbox One Wii U Oculus Rift Gear VR
  3. Albert peeled me off my 5200 as I sold it to him so he could take it to PGRE. Then again I also put my other classic gaming systems in the closet to shampoo the carpet and never got around to getting them back out. That was about 8 months ago.
  4. It's like Judge Judy but twice as fun.
  5. I was hoping for an appearance on Judy Judy myself.
  6. Apparently Farsight stopped the AC/DC Kickstarter because they don't need Kickstarter money to do the table anymore. Makes me wonder if someone decided they'd take a percentage of sales instead of an upfront fee.
  7. I understand how page flipping helps me read books but how does it help make games better? Draw screens faster?
  8. I'm probably more annoyed that the Kickstarter video basically has them begging for money just so they can get the Stern pinball app started with AC/DC like they can't fund a new game engine without Kickstarter whales. Oh well, that's capitalism. If they can get someone else to pay for it then why would they pay for it themselves? The separate app is for Stern branding to help with their advertising that Stern probably wanted. They also say it's because modern pinball games are a lot more complicated to emulate so they need an entirely new code base to deal with that.
  9. Looks like Farsight has announced some stuff for the Stern app. Do they really think people are dumb enough to rebuy Ripley's Believe it or Not or Starship Troopers just because they're releasing "new physics" with the Stern Pinball app? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1067367405/stern-pinball-arcade-ac-dc
  10. Looks like it's only out in North America for the Wii-U at the moment. That may or may not affect anyone here but figured I'd state it just in case.
  11. The Cuphead website says this game will be available on Xbone and Steam in 2016 so it's not going to be a Microsoft store, Windows 10 exclusive. http://cupheadgame.com/
  12. Assetto Corsa isn't out for consoles yet though but when it does get released for them later this year it'll be similar to Project Cars. Dirt Rally is definitely a lot of fun.
  13. While Farsight has developed a cabinet version of their software it won't see the light of day any time soon because of their deal with Stern to release a stand alone app with current Stern pinball releases. There was a guy doing a mod as a work around but I haven't been reading pinballarcadefans enough recently to know the status of that one.
  14. Sounds like something they're exploring but I'd think they wouldn't be out until X-mas 2017 at the earliest. I'm sure they both want to figure out how to get people to buy consoles as often as they buy $800 flagship phones on a two year cellphone plan.
  15. It is for some https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/batslyadams/super-russian-roulette-a-new-party-game-for-the-ne
  16. Looks like Deathsmiles is out now. http://store.steampowered.com/app/314180/
  17. Why is this thread in Modern Gaming? Where is the DVR capture card section at AtariAge?
  18. I find it hilarious because Steve is a great interviewee an didn't mince words but in a humorous way, not a anger filled rant kind of way.
  19. I have a RAP 3 and it also works with my PC although the rapid fire settings don't work. I guess they're PS3 only.
  20. While Karateka does have an ending I'd never call finishing it a "speed" run.
  21. Looks like the Doctor Who Kickstarter reached it's goal. It's the old table and they've also gotten an agreement with the BBC to do a reskinned version with some of the latest Doctor Who dudes and some different toys on the old table. They haven't said exactly how they're going to sell the updated Doctor Who table. Here's the info they posted about it:
  22. A couple of years ago I wouldn't have gotten it but now that Steam refunds are a thing and easy to get I might try it out.
  23. I'm pretty much done with any type of Early Access. The only one I've supported that's been good was Dirt Rally and that was because they already had a working game engine and just needed to make new assets.
