  1. Solitaire City is a really well done solitaire game with several different solitaire variations. It's a good time waster. It's a free download but costs $3 to get all of the solitaire variations. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.digitalsmoke.solitairecity&hl=en
  2. Last I heard it was headed back to Germany. Hopefully it's there by now since that was almost 7 years ago. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/101828-traveller-7800/page-3
  3. If you guys need one but don't want to pay $183.20 I'll sell you one for $170 with free shipping.
  4. I think it handles about the same as Assetto Corsa and I actually slightly prefer it's physics engine to that one. It's got terrible AI but then so did Forza 3 and 4 and the GT 5 and I had some fun with those. The great thing about getting it on Steam is Steam refunds are now a thing.
  5. Looks like Mushihimesama was released on Steam a few days ago. http://store.steampowered.com/app/377860/
  6. That's weird. I used mine in Windows 10 the same way I did in WIndows 7. The problem I had though was if I turned off the controller I had to reboot the computer if I wanted to play another game later because the system wouldn't recognize the controller a second time. Recently I was trying to troubleshoot another issue and did a clean install of Windows 7 and it started working properly again. I didn't have to reboot for the controller to be seen by Windows a second time...........at least until after Windows Update decided to install the security updates for .Net Framework then it started doing the same thing again. Since there were literally 215 security updates for .Net Framework I didn't bother trying to figure out which one was causing the problem.
  7. Curt is back and fully recovered. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/227889-7800-xm-update/page-14?do=findComment&comment=3189727
  8. Personally I'd get the Best super pot paddles. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/189944-best-super-pot-paddles/
  9. There are also the ones who intentionally lowball because all they really see Kickstarter as is a place to market things. I'm thinking of Stainless and Carmageddon Reincarnation with that one. As for kickstarting a Cave shooter? I'm not a big fan of their shooters.
  10. They haven't really released anything yet besides a place to look at your ships that may or may not be usable in their arena space shooter, a race track and one level to go hang out with people. I find the Derek Smart stuff rather funny mainly because he's talking trash but every game he's released seems to be complete garbage and he's a self admitted troll. I read Chris' response to the Escapist stuff and then went back and read their article. I'm not sure who to believe at this point but figure the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Chris would have been much better off not writing that post on his site as he's just feeding the click bait cycle. Now all the major sites will pick it up and it's gonna blow up.
  11. Same day release digital tables would definitely be cool. Hopefully this means Farsight will be able to include all of the Stern tables from the last 15 years that are all highly rated according to Pinside. I was kind of wondering what Farsight was going to do after Season 5. If they kept going further down the list of tables they hadn't done the tables were just going to get crappier and crappier without something like Pinball Arcade: The Stern Collection.
  12. Yeah, basically the switch box is just part of a power cable now.
  13. Guess I won't try to sell you my modified 4 port. It uses the 8 bit domain mod. I never got around to doing the power mod.
  14. Right now Star Citizen is just a pay to win arena dogfighting and racing game so you're not missing anything there. In 12 months it'll probably be a pay to win arena dogfighter and racing game along with some deathmatch FPS thrown in.
  15. Pete Rose - Trash The fielding zones the players were stuck in were awful and it was way too easy to hit home runs. F-18 - Solid game
  16. Sounds like the Ouya is gonna die. http://www.polygon.com/2015/7/28/9055441/ouya-money-owed-free-the-games
  17. Is Farsight stretched too thin? Apparently they released a bug in a patch this week that made all of the PS4 tables playable for everyone regardless of whether people had actually purchased said tables. Didn't take them long to fix that. https://www.reddit.com/r/PS4/comments/3eauth/pinball_arcade_update_all_tables_across_all_4/
  18. Steam will set itself up to load when you boot your computer but that can be disabled. You can also play games in "offline" mode so it doesn't always have to connect to the internet to play your games. I enjoy the Steam sales but otherwise wouldn't care one way or the other about it other than Steam allowing people to release games that would have never seen the light of day under the old retail business model. I only noticed "ads" when I enter the Steam Store. They make it fairly easy to search the store and if you're cheap like me you can put games on a wishlist and they'll send you an email when that game goes on sale. They seem to only send emails when it's a large sale too. I've never gotten an email for a game that was 15% off. The Steam version of The Pinball Arcade is easily the best version of that game.
  19. Touchdown Football would have been meh except the impossible extra points and field goals made the game trash. One on One was my favorite 7800 game but I've also always been a huge basketball fan. It's probably the best Atari sports game of all time but that's not saying a whole lot.
  20. They're going to have some Xbox 360 "backwards compatibility" similar to what they did with Xbox games on the 360. The Elite controller looks cool but not for triple the price. The $80 price point makes more sense to me. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/controllers/elite-wireless-controller
  21. I'd much rather watch Telemundo.
