  1. All of my versions here than begin with 1.4x only have different ROMs for different EEPROMS... there is no designator on them for 256k MIO or 1M MIO. So I would say the answer to your question is NO.
  2. What's really funny is that we are talking about 40 yr old hardware... here's an example. I had a 800 in storage. When I put it in storage, all keys on keyboard worked. When I took it out of storage in 2021, none of the keys worked. In 2022, I Took the Mitsumi keyboard apart and cleaned it well. This got 75% of the keys working. I advertised it for sale at a reduced price with a faulty keyboard. It finally sold in 2023... when I prepped it for shipping, I tested the keys again and 100% of them worked!!!! Between 2022 (75% working) and 2023 (100% working) nothing had changed except the humidity and the date/time. The point is... with this old hardware we are talking about, anything is possible... tread softly.
  3. For me it was the FBI on a Sunday morning... but they were looking for someone else who had been using codes to connect to my BBS...
  4. Anyone know where I can get Blackbox firmware for use in Altirra?
  5. Well.. for me... I run my BBS on an old Core i7 3rd gen PC that runs Windows 7. Altirra 3.91 is fine on Win 7 and the entire BBS is rock solid on this combination. On my main PC, I run 4.0 but for the test above, I copied 3.91 to my main PC. I just thought I'd interject...
  6. Drive # works fine here on this version... sorry I don't have 22H2.
  7. My broken Fujinet is on its way to Mozzwald for repair. Thanks for all the positive and generous responses to my questions.
  8. Maybe it should be a permanently locked 'sticky'...
  9. I got around to upgrading my Fujinet firmware this evening. I tried loading drivers, pushing buttons, changing cables and a bunch of other stuff and could not get the flasher to recognize the FN... nothing worked! So I decided to try the other one. Plugged it in and away it went... upgraded the first time. No problem... Then I went back to the first one and noticed that the USB port on the FN board was crooked. I took apart the FN and found that the USB port had some bad solder joints on it and was totally wiggling. I never used it before so never noticed it was defective. I tried soldering two of the connections to tighten it up but I am not equipped to deal with the five tiny connections on the port. SMD soldering is a little bit out of my league... Anyone know someone who can fix it? (This one came from VCC so I cannot send it back to Gavin).
  10. Thanks for the tip... got the SuperCart upgraded to 4.49!!!
  11. I suspect it would be hard to find since I bought this Willem back in the 1990s.
  12. Interesting... I guess I would need some type of adapter to plug this chip into my Willem. It only has a single DIP socket.
