  1. Not trying to flame or anything here but do you think you could go through your post and fix it. Your post probably the hardest post I've ever had to read. You know, just because I think you're making a good point, but it's hard to tell between all the grammatical errors.

no problem. check it out now...

I'm afraid that sometimes I get carried away in my typing.. the keyboard drawers a bt bouncy.. and I sometimes enjoy my product a bit too much..

its just a shame when it all comes together in a nasty mess..

thanks for pointing it out :)

  2. Actually.. with the experience I hav with resteruantours even in my littl emedium market foody town.. Nolans little concept could work...

for a very short period of time.. and needs to be concentrated..

basicly.. you need to pimp the hellot of it and the concept.. and it needs to be marketed towards those twenty something fashionista urban hipster no nbothings as then next big thing.. the pong tables?

well they'rea re just horribly ironic arne they?

high priced food.. higher priced drinks and keep the iconoclass out.. you'll re-coup initial investment within 6 months toa  year.. make a profit ina year and a half..

shutter the place in under two.. in the meen time .. have your next big thing up and operating

thats how the high concept resturant works..

other wise .. make all yer entree's $15 or less.. and fried.. and put a bunch of fake antiques onthe wall and hold out for the long run

either ways.. you give up your soul.. and the real money is made in the franchise..

un fortunatly.. the uber pong lounge is too high concept to workl outside of major entertainment venues like nework LA or las vegas.. I would say new orleans.. but they got more sht to get together first..  san fransico is Uber foody and any uber concept place like that is not going to work becouse over all .. they want to eat.. and Miami.. well.. theres too much buggering and techno music to even worry about..

it might work in london.. and possibly japan.. other than that.. do not expect bushnells uber pong bistros coming near you..  its too just to ohigh concept.. dispite the resurgance of vintage gaming..

well.. maybe if you want to have an animatronic Versace up in the corner singing showtunes.. but even then.. it aint going to work enmass

  3. I play my 2600 because the games CAN be replayed!

Most of today’s games have a story, and you play through the game which goes through the story. When you’re done playing a modern game you tend to have the same feeling like after you just finished a book. But when you try to play the modern game again it's just like starting a movie you just finished watching over again! You've seen it, done that, got the T-Shirt too!

With most classic games and ESPECIALLY the 2600 (because it's such a simple system) there is no real plot, just plain-'old good action! Sure there are a very few RPG style games but for the most part when you play the games just dump you straight into the action and don’t let up until you've won or lost!

And that is what I love about my 2600, when I want to get in and play it's there for me. No phony bologna story plot to have to follow, no cut scenes that I've watched a bazillion times, just the game that’s fun and addicting to play!

  4. So let me get this right Nova. You post something you found without any links or corroboration on your part and we are supposed to beleive you? Don't be dumb man! Check and double check your sources!

Because we are a demanding audience who expect nothing but proper news from proper sources. ( Sacasticly speaking of course! )

On the other hand I would like to see the link.

  6. I'll say it agian:

The PSP is a stellar Gaming rig, better than my GBAsp, Neo-Geo, Lynx, GG. ( then again the two types of games I really enjoy are FPS and racing games... )

It is on the otherhand, a VERY Sucky Portable DVD Player, a Horrible iPod, a sickening PDA, and a putrid web browser.

I carry more than $3000 worth of gadgets with me whereever I go, I consider myself to be fully wired, and yet, wireless.

I fully belive that I am the target audience for the PSP, me being a 23y/o single male with a yearly income of $50,000 or more.

I feel sorry for the poor people who have been given the PSP and are not the target audience. I think for them, it's like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

Oh, and another reason I got the PSP, so I can brag!
