yeah, I agree, the new Atari logo seems to look a little off.

BTW, I'm counting up to my 2000th post! A few years ago I saw all the guys who joined, not more than months before I did, and they had tons of posts to their names, I remember the big guys having no more than 2000!!!!! Yeah but you have to consider two things: Firstly you must consider that it's been an extreamly long time since the 2600jr. was availible brand new from Atari for under fifty bucks! "Under fifty bucks!!, well isn't that nice!" And two you have to consider that the hardware they are making is about twice the size of the standard Jakks pacific controller game. and so the price should at least reflect the "double production cost" attribute. aside from that, I think the price would be better at $39.99 that and for $49.99 I can buy a PSone, with a Atari anniversary collection... Not that I don't already have both, but still... they are definetly aiming at the nestolgia market!!!!!!

You could do the chip swaping, but it's not worth it if you've got a system that is coming to you thats going to be working just fine. BTW, This is post #: 1986

Oh, in all actuality I have plenty of male friends with different personal sexual preferences than I do, but when ever I make the assumption that it's "okay" for me to make quasi-derogitory-yet-good-natured, I get slammed too. So... All I'm doing is ensuring that we don't have any duality issues, or, hypocrites. Also there seems to be people here who are extremely easily offended, so we want to protect them too. And then lastly, I also want to change their opinion of me as apparently being a "homophobe" by basically doing the same thing that you did. At that, it's very clear to see that we in-fact do not have a casual forum to post in, but we ultimately have a place where politically correctness rules and every form of casualness has been thrown out the window for scrutiny and flaming. It truly sucks.

If Atari hasn't complained yet, I doubt they will. Chances are, since AA is selling it for the older console, it won't be in direct competition with this new console, on the other hand, Atari may ask for the ROM to be removed. And lastly I don't think Atari has the right to complain any more! Didn't Atari, under Hasbro, release their rights to all the Atari consoles, and games? or at least open what they had?

I think we may see that this system is in some way upgradeable via a game slot or something. Because as it stands right now it's simply a Jakks Controller game with two player capabilities, and quasi-better games. The direct Atari branding and a larger variety of games is this systems saving grace. But like I said, we may still see the ability to have other games released for this machine. But alas, we may even yet see a Jaguar system re-release soon too!!!!!

I'm going to buy it because it's a new peice of Atari hardware! even if it is considard "old" it's stil very very nice!

I've seen one for $99, but it was HUGE!!!!! it was like, bac-pack size!!!! He also said that he can get her a hell of allot more stuff for her to watch, shall we assume that the average Kid's DVD costs about $9.99. If he was to buy five of those, he'd spend $49.95, thus bringing the total cost up to $149.94 and as we can see that is not exactly, or even close to $100.

I caculated it all out, and thats about half of of my coffee table, add that to my 24, and now I just need 43 and I'll have exactly enough to make my table!!!!! I'm so happy!!!!!
