  1. Any word as to when Awesome Arcades is going to start selling their machines again? Paul
  2. I have not seen curts game, but it looks good. I think his website says they are sold out until summer. There is also a unit by dream authentics. if you happen to live in chicago area I know someone who builds them to order. I have decided to wait for Curts Awesome Arcade. It definately looks the most solid and several people have told me that it is one of the best out there. Just don't know if I can wait till the summer. Hurry up Curt. I want my Awecade..... Thanks for all the help. Paul
  3. What about the Awesome arcade machine? Paul
  4. I would like to get an arcade machine for my game room. I was going to get a stand alone Defender machine but have started to think about some of the multigame machines. I know the Taget Midway one is not any good but was wondering about the Arcade Legends one. It is about $2,500. Looks pretty solid with expandability. Anybody know of any reviews or have any experience with this one?? Thanks in advance. Paul
  5. Hi. I have been an avid classic gamer since I was a kid and owned my first Atari in 1977. I actually own pretty much every system made from Fairchild to XBox 360. Anyway enough of that. I am really interested in the homebrew scene. I have always had an affinity for programming games especially for the C64 back in the day. My real interest will be the Atari 5200 since it was one of my favorite systems. I think it would be a blast to do something like this. My question to everybody here is how do I get started down this road. What do I need? Hardware? Software? and such. I know I am probably asking a lot but I really want to start doing this but do not know where to begin. By the way I love the site and I love most of the homebrews out there. Adventure II will be great. Thanks in advance. Paul
