  1. ๐Ÿ˜‚That's awesome. I remember this. Btw, I don't have win this challenge to get my hot wife back. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  2. I don't have a PhD. And in logic, using a faulty comparison in which you are comparing two different categories (i.e., Ray's situation and cigarettes) becomes what is called a false equivalence which by default makes your logic flawed. And like what you inferred, you trying to bully Ray isn't working. And since you seem like a "tough" guy that promotes bullying that's in a 5200 forum, how about you go to the 5200 OE HSC challenge where the game of this month is Super Breakout. You can flex in there and challenge me in Super Breakout. You can take a jab at my experience and education, but let's see if your muchismo big mouth translates into your 5200 gaming skills. You can use any paddle mod or whatever controls. I'll use stock controllers. After all, I am here to discuss the Atari 5200. The 5200 OG's had Super Breakout and this game was the pack in game. You gonna put up or shut up? Head out to the challenge and post your high score pic. ๐Ÿ™‚
  3. Congrats, does that mean you're going to be in the atar5200land as well?
  4. Calling me myopic in itself is myopic. My undergraduate studies are in psychology and I have 20+ years working with special needs students in education. I've already addressed my issues with Ray in other posts. Your comparison with cigarettes to the situation with Ray is illogical. I don't disagree with some of the things you have to say. What Ray does with his own money is not my business.
  5. I really enjoy this game. The rotation on the classic stick is what makes this game unique too.
  6. In no particular order: 1. Super Breakout 2 Real Sports Baseball 3. Super Cobra 4. Pac Man (5200 version first console to include intermissions) 5. Pengo
  7. Just wondering why you would make this suggestion. The controls work amazing (when working) and really utilize the 5200 analog advantages.
  8. First Breakout game in years. 828 Stock controllers rule.
  9. Hey everyone, I'm a fan of the original 5200 Zenji puzzle game designed by Matthew Hubbard and released by Activision. The soundtrack was one of my favorite 5200 tunes. I'm a musician and producer from Houston, and I created a new project called, Zenjii. By sharing the name, I wanted to pay homage to one of my favorite puzzle games. The song is not related to the music in Zenji. I just really liked the name. I recently released a new Zenjii instrumental track called, PHLOW. It's more of a "chill" song that received "Excellent" ratings and was awarded at the 2022 Ti:ME Music Composition Festival. I just wanted to share if anyone is interested. The concept was created in my graduate music class. Thanks for taking the time to read this post. Ken www.kensarmientomusic.com *if you're more of a fan of rock guitar genres, you're welcome to listen to my 2018 single, "Super Queen," by my band, Channel K.
  10. I'm going to enjoy my Astros against your Mariners. Congrats on the Mariners making the playoffs. I was a Griffey fan back in the day.
  11. I don't see how promoting bullying is helping anyone. At some point, you just have to move on and accept some people don't get it and will never get it. The challenges in life are already tough for all of us and even worse for people with challenges like disabilities. Se la vie.
  12. Ray, nice videos. Any videos on the 5200 is a win for all of us 5200 fans. Thanks. Your history of posts requesting programmers to make 8bit conversions when you said you'd stop was highly annoying, but no one can deny your passion for the 5200 console. I hope you are able to work your personal issues out. I'm in the music industry, be sure to have an updated LinkedIn page. Best, Ken
  13. Ryan, this sounds weird but cool. I hope you find a way to utilize the 5200 sticks.
  14. Hard Driving is difficult in the arcade and definitely not smooth. The lynx version is decent if you like the arcade. You might like it. There are people that hate Batman. But for me, it's a top 15 game. Most people that hate Batman, have never completed the game. I finished the game several times in its release.
  15. The 5200 didn't fail because of the controller alone. I have the scores to prove the controllers are fine. Reliability was always the issue and if Atari had better flex unit and buttons, we wouldn't be talking about the controller.
  16. Ryan, you seem to get your resources on all your games so I'm sure you could manage if you choose to do so. Tackling a Cloak and Dagger game would be the ultimate 5200 milestone nobody was able to finish even on other systems.
  17. I am a musician/producer with no atari programming skills. I was curious if I created music using software like the Antic Music Processor (or something similar), can the music be saved from the program and used for another game? I've always wanted to create music on the 8bit wanted to create music for future atari titles. Maybe a midi converter option? Thanks for taking the time to read. Ken
  18. @Ryan Witmer If sometime in the distant future you ever decide to make Cloak and Dagger 5200 game, it would be mega breakthrough game. You could call your game, "Agent X." Basically, that was the original name of the game before "Cloak and Dagger." Your work and vision to all the 5200 titles are extraordinary. Thank you! Ken
  19. Ryan, I finally got the chance to play the recent version. You've done a great job. My local arcade has Lock and Chase and I've been playing it the last 4 months. @Synthpopalooza has done a great job staying true to the original. The feel and look of the maze are reminiscent of the arcade. Your version tops the Intellivision or Colecovision easily. The controls feel good too. If there was one thing that I wish you could change would be the size of the dots. The arcade has tiny dots. That's about it. Looking forward to the final version. Keep up the great work! Ken
  20. Every Atari console not named the 2600 was a failure. PacMan became the pack in game the following year however it was too late.
  21. Would love to see this converted to the 5200 too. Looks cool!
  22. I like the 5200 controllers with Pitfall 2. It works well for me. For the first Pitfall, I admit I have a hard time. And I don't usually have an issue because the 5200 controllers work well for me in all other games.
