Man, Bombad Racing is awesome! I really like Kart games and this is easily one of my favourites. It's actually one of the few games I own for PS2. Good tracks, crazy weapons, plus super cute Star Wars characters. Who doesn't love this? I played Rebel Assault 2 on PS1, finished it too. Pretty much a big yawn from where I sit. I felt like I barely had control most of the time. Liek you just press left and X at the right times on some levels, that's it. The flying levels too were just too difficult to control. However, the game is much more playable than the Sega CD Rebel Assault 1, in which I could never finish the first half of the first level are you kidding? the flying levels were easy as can be i could go through those levels quickly and not need cheats either i knew this game would be a mixed bag. the sega cd one was good but the graphics were below par . i admit that one was more challenging..it took me 2 hours to beat that one..i still have mine and play it from time to time well , the bombad racing in my opinion was just a kiddie episode 1 tie in(the podracing game was much better) . i admit i rented this and gave it a shot. I played it for 10 minutes and i was itching to go into another game im not into those cute games.. then again i was never a mario or mario-kart game fan either...different strokes for different folks i guess..

Don't miss Clone Wars. I loved that game. For old school it's pretty much all about Super Star Wars on SNES. That game runs rings around Apprentice of the Force for GBA which I just played and did not like very much at all oh yeah, those are great games..some people diss the super star wars games (cant see why they are excellent!) i still play those to this day, with super empire strikes back being my favorite of that series. the clone wars game is a overlooked gem that should be checked out its really fun.. i also think star wars Bounty Hunter is underrated as well , thats a great game also. Your playing as jango fett Nuff said..its a no brainer...but you have to devote some time to it though this might be why not too many people like this one ... if you really want to check out a cool old school star wars game check out star wars: rebel strike 2: the hidden empire for the ps1 that was a great game loved the live action cut scenes in this one..I know some people will piss on this one, but who cares i say give it a chance, you might be surprised. if you really want to go retro the atari 2600 empire strikes back is one of the best... sure, its simplistic , but its still fun after 20+years later ( everytime i play it i still remember that easter when it was wrapped up in my easter basket along with boba fett and chewbacca forget the candy!!) or check out the atari 5200 version of star wars the arcade game(but theres a high quality version of this as a unlockable in the gamecube's rogue leader: rogue squadron 2) for the pc the dark foeces/ jedi knight series still offers up lots of fun and lets not forget my personal favorite..Tie Fighter.. as for apprentice of the force for the gba, its fun but not very challenging at all its good for a quick star wars fix though . sure, lucasarts had some "turkeys' in the star wars gaming francise such as episode 1 super bombad racing and the ultra boring star wars force commander and star wars rebellion.. but, thats the beauty of star wars..theres always something for everyone.

its really nice its worth the money it makes the games look so much better and you can see all the detail in the games now without having to squint all the time

Huh? Gi Joe for 2600 is a paddle game where you have to try to protect green soldiers from a snake. It plays nothing like Front Line. who cares its fun! im just saying it reminded me of frontline

lets not forget Raiders of the lost ark for the 2600 that was a dud for sure as well as E.T both games were a letdown from start to finish.. and gi joe was great! sure it was a frontline rip off but who cares? its fun

im not a aerosmith fan...but i liked the fact that they used their tracks in the game revoloution x as well as in the dead or alive games...it fits perfectly

superman 64 sucked.. i remember my cousin being excited for that one but the most recent game that i was looking forward to was "BLACK" for the xbox the demos looked amazing when i got it home i went thru a few levels i was unimpressed it seemed rushed no style at all it looked like there was no thought put into it. still, its fun to play for all of 20 minutes worth a rental not a buy. and sure it looks awesome and everything..but i found " GOD OF WAR" to be sort of a let down the reason was there are not any direct codes for the game..You will die all the time in this one...and second i was turned off by the hidden puzzles throughout the game...sure they were easy and all..but it took away from the rush of snapping arms bashing skulls..hopefully part 2 will be better from the E3 demo it looks like it will be worth the wait but im wondering why wasnt it for the playstation 3?..

i just got a bunch of codes for star wars revenge of the sith for the ps2 cant wait..i just want to get the "THE MAIN BATTLE" between obi wan and anakin then check out all the hidden goodies later on. also got codes for Star wars :Bounty hunter...great gaming all around:)

personally, i think blu ray is over hyped...ive seen some of the discs in action and to tell you they are not all that..its basically the same picture quality..ok sure it holds more data..but so what? ..do you think the average consumer is going to care? I have a hd tv and my dvds are awesome on my tv. i think bly ray is getting a bad rap is because of the huge price for the players..1000 for a player? even the dvd players wernt that much at the start..i got my dvd plyer for 199 back in 1998 and its still going strong:) people are not going to want to upgrade just yet..it will have to take time...just like the vhs players now look they are basically dinosaurs now.. also , the reason why im not big on blu ray is because its Fucking up the ps3 ! the price is jacked up sky high for the system because of the br drive..its not needed in a video game system..add all the delays etc and you will have a product that will not sell well.... i was looking forward to the ps3 but after all of this plus the outrageous price, delays, bugs etc...i the ps2 was the best system that sony has made..and i know im not the only one that thinks like this.. and its still selling very well..i i like the hd-devd format basically its the same but the 360 has a drive that you can add on..thats cost effective...Microsoft is doing things right. and just think before the first xbox all they did was software and comp applications..You would think sony would know better with their track record being a electronics maker and all for me my next gen system of choice is the xbox 360..its a better deal and you get much more. I know ill get a ps3 eventually..but with all the bad press around it..i can wait)

first off the ps3 is a great system..from what we have seen that is! sony is playing a smoke and mirrors game also, add all of these problems etc and you will have a guaranteed piss poor launch! first of all who is going to shell out 600 dollars just for the system? then you have to get a game as well we all know the ps3 is OVERPRICED..and to make things worse it might be delayed even more because of the bly ray drive.....hmm sony, it looks like your promotion people are not doing their jobs at all its no wonder why the 360 is selling so well .personally sony should have never deceided to do the blu ray thing in the ps3 system it really isnt needed ! not having the blu ray would have been able to keep costs down wishful thinking i know! sony would rape us somewhere else its all about the games, thats all.. and sony has lost touch with that...

Well, unless someone's still making games for the Channel F, I think the 2600 holds the record for system longevity... Actually, with proper programming the 2600 really holds up quite well. true, the 2600 was great but its so primitive now .. i forgot all about it when the 5200 came out and so on...it was only recently i dug out my 2600 and thought this was the bomb?? wow we have come a long way! but i still like the 2600 version of space invaders so go figure:)
