There was one like that for auction in august. The seller took the sticker from spiderman and altered it in some way (I think it says Marvel somewhere on that one and he just cut it off). For mine I just entered the UPC in Google (which results came up as the item I had) and asked around a couple places and it seemed to be legitimate. Obviously there is no way to tell for sure unless you are the original owner and bought it from the store, but it wouldn't make much sense either to fake a bar code just to trade it for a couple bucks at a record store either.

Yeah I think this was the last SMS release in the US. Since it was so late in the lifespan they just put the UPC sticker on the case over the PAL upc code instead of making an entire production of new games. Any of them that didn't sell they probably shipped them off somewhere to another region in did the same thing. Couple that with the possibility that anyone that did buy game here in the US might have just thrown the box or, or even peeled off the sticker (its kind of unsightly just attached to the back of the clear plastic part of the case). The buyer had been looking for it for a long time (I heard that the last legitimate one for sale was in may 09) and it was the last game he needed to complete his SMS collection. Let's just say I was pleasantly surprised at the final outcome of the auction.

New screen is a must. The difference in quality and clarity is almost indescribable (way better doesn't do it justice) its something you have to see for yourself, and wonder how you ever put up with the old one.

I rescued this guy from Goodwill a few years back, as you can tell from the price sticker. Interestingly enough it works a lot better than a few other pristine non yellow Super Nintendos that I own/have come across. I also once traded for a Gamecube and an N64 from a user from a different section of the internet. The GC was all sticky and covered in hair, as if the previous user took a graphics skin off it and preceded to use it as a bowling ball though a dog groomers before shipping it to me. The N64 had mud in the expansion port, however the hell that happens. The games that were bundled with this were spotless and non-gross, completely perfect, which makes this even weirder to me.

I got WiFi in my Sheraton room this year, its pretty sluggish but better than what we had last year, aka nothing.

WHAT!? Ax told me that was his "aunt" Shirley! Shirley you jest. At any rate, I heard that last year the cops DID show up because they thought the "GAMING" in Midwest Gaming Classic was GAMBLING. They apparently hassled people setting up the show until it was proven otherwise. When I left the setup on Friday night I went to the ATM. Brookfeild police followed me out of the parking lot at the hotel MGC was at, to the free ATM located on Bluemound road. They parked next to my car as I got out and withdrew funds. Then followed me to my hotel near the highway. I just didn't want to have to try and get money the next morning. apparently taking money out of an ATM late at night is a crime. AX Just be thankful they did not cavity search your beard!
