[When did you get your Atari Lynx + games and where?]

I got mine in the late 90's.slowly bought games from local shop in Sydney.After a while they were giving away a refurbished console with every 2 or more games bought!Needless to say i made the most of that so i had plenty of spare ones for the future.Great gaming at an affordable price at time.

I have not visited this site for about a year,good to see everybody still enjoying Lynx!I think i have had Lemmings on just about every machine i have had!!,Now have the PSP version and is great as well.never get tired of this title.

I have exactly 50 games(all original releases)no homebrews.

I hope you didn't want to play it like a gba advance!I love my backlit screen.When gba advance first come out i thought of getting one,Till i tried it in the shop and to my disgust it had no backlight.Unbelievable.I have never had the light fail on me,so i cannot comment on that sorry.

Yes welcome to our world,you sound like you have the disease.All the mentioned titles are all great but you will find yourself collecting as many titles as you can(even if you don't like them),just because it is a great system to collect for.Congrats on lemmings,i have it too but i hear so many people wanting this game.--Happy Days.

Hi,I am watching one in australia on ebay with 2 game carts presently up to $102.50 aus dollars which is about 40 pounds in uk.I would prob pay about $50.00 aus maximum.I have 6 units,but i was lucky when i started lynx collecting about 6 years ago, my local computer store was giving away a free refurbished unit and pouch in box when you bought two games at about $20.00 aus each,so thats how i ended up with so many.I watch e-bay all the time for lynx and am amazed at the way lynx items are quickly snaped up,I dont keep my boxes but i always buy games with instructions.

I must say i like the booklets better than the poster types as they are neater to store and better to read,I don't like games without instructions,although i dont keep boxes.Also I thought i saw a poster type for chequered flag,is there such an item or am i just imagining it.

Yes,i had one do the same on a lynx II,but fortunately i have spare units,but i am sure a technician could fix or replace it for you.I just got a megadrive ac port repaired,it cost me $22.

Yes i saw that the other day too,and thought it must be a joke,i also cant believe his other items prices as well.The good thing about lynx games are that they are still affordable for new users,but i suppose they will get more expensive the rarer they get.
