  1. #Atari8bit #FujiNet Users, what games would you like to see High Score Enabled? Feel free to e.g. look through the HomeSoft collection on apps.irata.online, and make a list. The constraint is that it needs to be a game that tallies a meaningful score.
  2. Absolutely! go to https://fujinet.online/ and select TNFS Servers from the button bar. -Thom
  3. Kid Grid is now #HighScoreEnabled for #Atari8bit #FujiNet users! This 1982 game by TRONIX is a clone of Amidar, and involves Kid Grid filling in blocks on the grid while avoiding Moose, Squashface, Muggy and Thuggy. You can play it via TNFS on apps.irata.online in the /Atari_8-bit/Games/High Score Enabled/ folder. -Thom 2024-11-07 12-54-34.mp4
  4. Hello all, decided to make my fourth attempt at adding High Score Enabled to Gyruss, but the resulting disassembly refuses to run correctly, so am wondering what subtle thing I am missing... I produced the image for disassembly by loading the Homesoft version, letting it load in, and jump in, before writing the memory at 8000-BFFF to a raw binary. Adding the run address produces a runnable file, but with corrupted graphics, so am suspecting an instruction vs data alignment issue. I have provided a zip with the disassembly, and the built binary for reference, maybe another pair of eyes may help. -Thom gyruss-disassembled-broken.zip

  7. That's a very small log. but from the reconnect attempt above, it seems the ESP32 is having difficulty connecting to your WiFi network. -Thom
  8. COMING SOON for #Atari8bit #FujiNet: High Score Enabled "Kid Grid" (1982, Tronix), a good Amidar clone. Fill in the squares while dodging Moose, Squishface, Muggy, and Thuggy. #retrocomputing #retrogaming

  10. #FujiNet users can track the US #Election2024 via their #Atari8bit, #ColecoAdam, #TRS80CoCo, and #Apple2 computers! Server: fujinet.online Path: /Election2024/
  11. Run the FujiNet flasher, and use the monitor to see what could be failing. -Thom
  12. Your reset circuit may not be working properly. Try holding down the A button while powering on the FujiNet to put it into flashing mode (all three lights are lit, but dim), before running the flasher. -Thom
  13. * Grab FujiNet-Flasher for your platform, here: https://github.com/FujiNetWIFI/fujinet-flasher/releases/ * Ensure that you have a USB cable that you can plug into said PC running the flasher, that has all its pins (not just a power cable) * Run the program, select the appropriate port for the flasher, select Atari 8-bit, and select version 1.4.0 (The latest). Press Flash. It will erase, and re-flash the device. Once done, it can be used. -Thom
  14. If you have version 1.4 of the firmware (you can see what version you have, inside CONFIG), your FujiNet should boot quickly enough to allow the 800 to power the FujiNet from the bus and have it ready for boot. do you? -Thom
