  1. I'm confused. On the USPS's website, it says I can get 25 flat-rate boxes for free. Does this mean I can just waltz in the post office, get 25 of them, and leave without paying for them?

      You can go to the Post Office and get them or you can order them and they will deliver them to your house for free.

      Yep, I got a start pack of mixed sizes delivered to my house,about 5-6 months ago, but still have to use them for shipping. I found out right about the time I got the boxes delivered that using my own box was much cheaper for most of what I ship.

      Many years ago I was on a forum that discovered this and a lot of users tried fleecing the USPS for tons of free boxes. Some of them got in trouble IIRC heh.
