  1. Need opinions pls. I've been looking for a crt tv for a while, finally have someone willing to sell me a 25" for 20 bucks. But it doesn't have rca ports, only one input for a coax cable. All my systems are av modded but I have a converter to connect them. Is it worth it? Does the cable connection/conversion degrade the picture?

I would wait. Why does Florida have a CRT shortage? Lol

If you can get a hold of a 2nd hand VCR, than you can use that as a A/V to coax converter, plus VCR's have signal filters built in.

No I just wanted an older TV for the CRT, I've read here they are better suited for older systems. All my systems *do* look better on the older TV. Only one problem. My Colecovision comes up fine, then within 30-60 seconds starts to flicker and goes white. Never did that on my LCD. I've tried everything. I have the power switch mod and the video mod with the one pin plug to RCA output. Hopefully there's a fix, I'll try the VCR for the filter. I still have one in my garage.
