So im a huge fan of bootleg/obscure hardware, and two of my favorites pieces of my collection are these old 1993 Megadrive clones i bought. The first one is a Nasa New 16 bit, the clone lacks a lot of features like the headphone jack and the MegaCD port, and is incompatible with the 32x and some multitaps, but the console has a great built quality. The second one is the infamous Kw-501, which i was kinda disappointed that the built quality was very bad, but the console has most of the features the Nasa lacks. Any of you guys owns an old Megadrive clone or similar?

Sacred Line II is a brand new adventure game being made exclusively for Sega Mega Drive / Genesis, which serves as both a sequel and a prequel to Sacred Line Genesis. It follows the story of Sarah, a girl with a troubled past, who was kidnapped by the religious cult Svete Namjere ("Holy Intentions"). She dies after being attacked by one of the cult members, but then comes back to the world of the living aided by a mysterious force. Set in the year 1999 of an alternate reality world, where Yugoslavia still exists, she tries to keep it from crumbling. The game is about 2-3 times bigger than Sacred Line Genesis, featuring more exploration options, puzzles and battles. Status: 95% Complete Finished game date: March 2022 Official page: http://sashadarko.com/sacred-line-ii/ As for the cartridge release: there's a publisher who is interested in releasing the game on cartridges, but it all depends on me providing a satisfiable product. There are two special options available for a limited time for people who wish to support the game financially and become a part of it. You will get a beta version of the game before its release after the and you will get a full version once it's finished, along with the soundtrack. One of these two options is to become a Founder of the game, your name will be mentioned in the Credits as a significant person who helped make it happen and you will also get a separate version with your name being featured in the game main menu. There's also an option to get your own personal DLC Game with a Survivor story where you are the hero inside the game world, featuring your own adventure. It will be finished in 21 days after the order and you will get a full game with an unique script having over 10.000+ characters, 10+ new graphics scenes and a new soundtrack (with at least three music tracks). More info on the game page: http://sashadarko.com/sacred-line-ii/ Screenshots:

My reply in another topic turned into a mega post. So, I thought this would be a good place to make it its own thing. There's the web page for the previous BASIC compiler BasiEgaXorz. SecondBASIC uses the same commands. https://devster.monkeeh.com/sega/basiegaxorz/ The old BasiEgaXorz forum still has some members and posts with examples. https://devster.proboards.com/board/1 With the help of other AtariAge members we converted older BEX examples to SecondBASIC https://atariage.com/forums/topic/330427-unverified-secondbasic-examples/ Second Dimension has all sorts of ways to contact them including an active Discord channel. https://www.second-dimension.com/contact Some BasiEgaXorz tutorial videos. Commands and tools should apply to SecondBASIC https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtRlppmgfvM&list=PLHx0gZanhY9msn9H-5K5hHYxEhBkndf4M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWVYLrCgwbg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQr1pkjE430 The guy who made sega genesis versions of Barbarian and CrazyCars includes the source code in his downloads http://barbarian.1987.free.fr/download/download.htm http://crazycarscpc.free.fr/ There's also someone on AtariAge who posts his BasiEgaXorz experiments sometimes providing source. Not super expert material but it demonstrates fellow beginner code on the older BASIC compiler. https://atariage.com/forums/topic/322338-games-i-made-using-the-sega-ide-basiegaxor/ Code examples and source around the web. Hello, I have a question regarding sprite layers in the Kega Fusion emulator. I believe you can toggle layers in a different emulator, znes or something like that, which means you could possibly turn off the HUD of some games... I am wondering if it's possible to do the same in Kega Fusion? I'm trying to achieve this, mainly turning off the HUD, as to gather some background footage of game play for a video. If not possible, or there any other methods of achieving this goal? Sorry if I didn't post in the right category, never been on a forum.

Hey there folks! About a year ago I put all my Sega games into storage, to see if I could be happy just playing games off an EverDrive. The plan was that if I was content with the EverDrive and didn't miss my physical games after a year then I'd sell my original cartridge and disc collection and put the money from the sales towards other hobbies, and as luck would have it it's been a year since I put my games into storage and I've been really satisfied gaming off an EverDrive. I could definitely use the funds to get started keeping pet tarantulas too, which is a hobby I've been very interested in for a long while but the initial startup cost is rather high when you want half a dozen different species and fancy enclosures for them, so now feels like the right time to let go of my games that have been sitting in storage. Before I get started with the items for sale, to give you a reference for my reliability as a seller, here's a link to my eBay account where I have 100% positive feedback from 847 transactions over the past 11 years: https://www.ebay.com/usr/hanz0d0g As far as shipping goes all the prices listed do not include shipping costs, but I'm happy to ship anywhere in the US with USPS Priority Mail and I am willing to ship internationally as well if the buyer doesn't mind the shipping costs. All packages will be shipped with tracking and insured for the full value of the items to make sure no one loses money in the event the package gets lost in the mail, though I've never had USPS lose a package before. I think that about covers all the formalities, so on the items for sale! Sega Genesis Games Lot And now for the main attraction, and this one is a real doozy! This collection of 60 Sega Genesis cartridges is one of the most meticulously curated lots of games you'll ever lay eyes on when it comes to condition. I was absolutely obsessive when it came to the condition of the games I bought and every single game in this collection has a near mint label with zero edge wear or significant scratches anywhere. They're all about as close to brand new condition as you'll find short of buying Genesis games new in box and all games and their labels are 100% original and authentic, no reproductions here. I did my best to show the label condition by including pictures both with and without flash, but glare and reflections are still hard to avoid so any white spots you may see in the pictures above are just glare spots from the camera. If you'd like any additional pictures of games close up or pictures of the cartridge PCBs of the more valuable games to confirm their authenticity then feel free to ask and I'll be happy to take some! That's probably enough waxing on about the mintiness of said games though, so here's what all you get: - Alien 3 - Altered Beast - Arcade Classics - Arcade's Greatest Hits, Williams Presents - Battletech - B.O.B. - Bram Stoker's Dracula - Brutal: Paws of Fury - Castlevania: Bloodlines - Columns III - Comix Zone - Contra: Hard Corps - Desert Demolition - Dragon's Fury - Ecco the Dolphin - Ecco: The Tides of Time - Eternal Champions - Galaxy Force II - Genesis 6 Pak - Golden Axe II - Greendog: The Beached Surfer Dude - Jurassic Park - Kid Chameleon - Lethal Enforcers - Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters - Light Crusader - Lightening Force: Quest for the Darkstar - Mega Bomberman - Mortal Kombat - Mortal Kombat II - Mortal Kombat 3 - Ms. Pac-Man - NBA Jam: Tournament Edition - OutRun - PGA Tour Golf III - Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure - Primal Rage - Raiden Trad - Road Rash II - Rocket Knight Adventures - Samurai Shodown - Scooby-Doo Mystery - Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi - Sonic the Hedgehog (Sega Classics Version) - Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - Sonic & Knuckles - Sonic 3D Blast - Sonic Spinball - Splatterhouse 2 - Street Fighter II': Special Champion Edition - Super Monaco GP - Super Street Fighter II - Tanglewood (Homebrew, Complete in Box. Rare NTSC Kickstarter First Print) - Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure - Thunder Force III - Vectorman - Virtua Racing - Zero Tolerance - Zoop Whew! That's all 60 games! And now, for the rather awkward subject of price. I won't be tacking on any extra cost for the flawless condition labels, but I will be asking the current PriceCharting market price for average condition games minus 32% for the lot discount. Given that the current market price for all 60 games added up is $1,255.94 my asking price for the lot after factoring in the 32% discount is... Price: $850 + shipping Whew! That's everything! Thank you for taking the time to check out my sales thread and if you're interested in purchasing anything or if you have any questions or would like some more pictures of the items I have available then just shoot me a private message and I'll get back to you as quickly as possible.

Hey All! In a few weeks I'll be releasing my JAG2GEN Jaguar AV adapter. This adapter allows you to connect Sega Genesis (Model 2) AV cables to your Atari Jaguar. This provides a more common and readily available solution for connecting your Atari Jaguar to an SDTV or HDTV. The JAG2GEN works great with HD Retrovision cables (Genesis Model 2) and works even better with HD Retrovision cables connected to a scan converter like OSSC. I've created a sign up list for anyone interest: https://www.humblebazooka.com/product/jag2gen-jaguar-av-to-genesis-cables/ (pre-production shell subject to change upon release) Features: Supports Genesis Model 2 AV cabes Supports HD Retrovision cables Allows you to use an OSSC or RetroTink to upscale for better video quality Properly attenuated sync Custom designed and professionally assembled PCB Custom designed 3D printed shell FAQ: Q) What is the JAG2GEN? A) The JAG2GEN is an adapter that simply converts your Jaguar’s AV signal to that of a Genesis model 2 AV cable. Q) Will it make my picture quality look better A) Not by itself but the JAG2GEN captures your Jaguar’s RGB signals allowing a scan converter to make your Jaguar games look amazing. Q) Why not straight to HDMI? A) Converting and upscaling 240p signal from RGB requires a lot of development time in hardware and software, requiring hardware that would inflate the cost of this adapter to the end user. I wanted to develop something simple that anyone can afford and use. Q) Is this the same thing as Helder's "JAG2SNES" adapter? A) It's very similar and uses a similar circuit and components. The JAG2SNES was actually my idea I pitched to Helder who then made the PCBs. I designed the shell, did all the R&D testing, and we eventually got the adapter to market. I've learned from that experience and decided to make my own adapter and offer an option for people with Genesis model 2 AV cables. Q) Is this the same thing as Jody Hicks' (Judas-Prime) Jag AV adapters? A) Nope - same concept, different execution! This is a ground up solution I've developed. If you already own Jody's adapter, there's probably no reason to buy this if his performs how you want it to. I'm sure I don't need to tell you guys how awesome of a dude Jody is. But he openly endorsed Helder's and my JAG2SNES adapter via Twitter, which he didn't have to do.

I think I have a brain like Arnold Rimmer in Better Than Life. I can't let myself have nice things, so I torture myself with Biblical games. Actually though this one's better than Super 3D Noah's Ark.

Skippy's Retro Game Center & Collections
Skippy B. Coyote posted a topic in Show Us Your Collection!
Hey there everyone! If there's two things I love in this world it's old video games and Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, and you can expect to see a fair amount of both in this thread. If for some reason you are put off by either old video games or magical talking pastel colored unicorns I would suggest clicking the "Back" button on your browser now. You have been warned lol That said, let's start things off with a look at my home console gaming center! That's a bit of an older picture, before I added another game storage cabinet for my 130'ish Atari 2600 cartridges and some framed Atari posters to the back wall, but it should give you a fairly good idea of my setup. Maybe I can take some new pics later this week if people want to see them. On the subject of the Atari 2600, that seems like as good a place as any to start the look at my game collections for individual systems. Again, this will be a sightly older pic... I've acquired a good dozen or so new games since that picture was taken, including Princess Rescue and a reproduction of Shooting Arcade; as well as a Wico Command Control Trackball, Wico Command Control bat style joystick, a Best Electronics Lightgun, and a Competition Pro 5000 joystick. Those I shouldn't have much trouble snapping some new pictures of in the near future. I do collect for a few other systems as well as the Atari 2600, including the original Game Boy / Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and the Sega Genesis. I use the term "collect" loosely, because honestly I consider myself more of a curator than a collector. I'm not out to collect every game published for my favorite systems, just the ones that I personally like and find enjoyable to play. If I buy a game and decide I don't like it after playing it then it goes up on eBay or off to a local game store and gets resold. There are a few historically significant exceptions to this in my game libraries (such as the copies of Pac-Man and E.T. seen above), but for the most part I'm only interested in collecting the good and fun games for my favorite systems. I haven't taken any pictures of my Genesis collection yet since it's still pretty small (around 20 games) but I do have a few of my Game Boy library to share: I have a real soft spot for the old gray brick and the games on it, but the vast majority of the time whenever I play a Game Boy game it's on my custom Twilight Sparkle themed Game Boy Color. I really dig the color pallets that Nintendo programmed into the GBC for many of the more popular original Game Boy games, and I like seeing the games displayed on a screen the same size as the one they were originally made for; but without any of the motion blur of the original Game Boy screen. The Game Boy Advance SP does get used for original Game Boy and Game Boy Color games sometimes as well though (usually late at night when I don't feel like digging out the Worm Light for the GBC), and it has been somewhat customized too. It started off life as a Graphite colored AGS-101 model backlight GBA SP and really got the ever living daylights beat out of it by it's previous owner, but after I purchased it I ended up refurbishing it with a brand new purple housing, buttons, and screen cover. I also took it to a local game store and had them solder in brand new L and R trigger contacts, and it's been a constant traveling companion for me ever since. It really is a wonderful little system. That's all for now! I hope you enjoyed this look at my gaming center and game collections, and you can expect to see this thread updated regularly with new pictures of Atari 2600, Game Boy/Color/Advance, and Sega Genesis games and accessories.- 43 replies
