  2. Hi everyone, its finally happened, I'm at the point where I'm ready to start unloading my collection. I wanted to give you guys the good folks at AA first crack at anything you might be interested in. This list contains something like 350 games, so unfortunately I'm going to start if off as a list with no pictures. These games are in various states of conditions, but assume the vast majority of them are working, have been played by me personally, and are usually in PAL UK version where applicable. Some of the older stuff like the master system might be Japanese or US copies, but generally is not an issue. If I own it, I can play it on a European console, as that's my near exclusive limit (outside a neo geo AES - not being sold!). Some are boxed, some are not. Some have instructions, some do not. They are all unsealed, there is no Wata level quality here. I'm a gamer, and these games were played. Please PM for interest in items, I can send prices for those games with images of boxes, manuals and state of disk/cart. Use this topic for general queries. I might be able to do pictures of specific collections of things, but nothing is in an easy to view format right now other than this list. Some things I can do prices now, but the lists are far too big. I'll try and update with time if I can. Hopefully obvious, but my native country is England, United Kingdom, prices will be in GBP £££ but will happily convert to your local currency, and give you potential postage to your country - just let me know where you live! Big orders I will try to do free postage, but all orders will be tracked shipping. If you live in Manchester/Liverpool, Cheshire, Birmingham area, Gloucestershire or Wiltshire we can discuss potential dropping off/meet instead, but note I live in Cheshire. About 6 months ago I started this topic: This was me processing letting go of significant number of games. Soon after I put my house on the market, and bought my next one up. In the process this took a backseat - and initially I had boxed about 100 games I was "ready" in mind to sell. This has now increased to something like 350, including PC games (hence why I'm going to start with lists, then will do pictures as requested). A few other things have happened, the work on the house has cost us considerably more than we planned, and the profit from the first house has already emptied to 0. We also had our car break down on moving day, and this caused issues with our buyers which cost us more money. The car has now fully broken down and we have had to borrow money to buy a 'new' (and by new, I mean 15 year old!) car. This is a bit of a boo-hoo story I know, but it leads to me realising that I have boxes full of cash I just need to get rid of, and I might be able to pay off the debt at least. I would also like to make sure I can manufacture some more Odyssey 1 multicards which I was planning on doing this month, but due to car - needs potentially delaying. Anyway... onto the list. I think there will be another cull at some point, but this is "second wave" culling and includes games like Zelda that I thought I would never get rid of. I've decided to get rid of my entire collection of N64 games, but don't get excited most are unboxed and all are relatively common-uncommon. PC: I need to form a list of PC games but I have already divided some up into prices, these are mostly "big box" games, though a mix of CD and floppy disk. If anyone is interested I'll try and develop a list asap. DOUBLES: These are just doubles I have for sale, I won't be selling any other games for these systems (1st, 2nd and selected 3rd gen consoles) Magnavox Odyssey: Volleyball boxed and complete. I'll take £90 for it as someone on ebay is going for that much. Atari 2600: Would probably sell both these games for a £5 to get rid of it. Both loose. Pac Man (double) Pitfall (double, I don't think this works on all 2600 machines... rubbish label before you ask) Voltmace Database (This is a 1292 alternative system, there is an adapter to use it in more common formats like the acetronic system, but I'm not selling it!): Various games, many boxed with instructions £10 each, 2 loose with instructions, £5 each. Collections being sold off: These are 1st and 2nd wave removals from my collections, other than the N64 which I'm selling fully there may be other games on these systems I'm selling in the future. Stuff like Neo Geo, Atari, Amiga and Philips alongside 32x, Mega CD, 3DO and TG16 etc are currently intending to be kept. NES: Adventures of Bayou Billy, The Bubble Bobble Donkey Kong Double Dragon III - The Sacred Stones Dr. Mario Duck Hunt Excitebike Golf Iron Sword: Wizards and Warriors 2 Jack Nicklaus 18 holes Kickle Cubicle Lemmings Mission: Impossible Pac-Man Super Off Road (Ivan Ironman Stewarts) Super Mario Bros. - Duck Hunt Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles Zelda II - The Adventure of Link Sega Master System: Note some of these are US or Japanese carts, but work on PAL machines too. Most are boxed, but no instructions, so I'm cutting down the price on most of them. 3. Six month update! Pictures forthcoming. If you want to inquire about a particular item, I can probably get a picture within a day or two. If you want to make a trade, or take off a large number of lower priced items, I’m far more flexible on prices. I tried to price everything below ebay, but if any prices are way off base (possible!), feel free to let me know, even if you’re not buying. Shipping is from 02141 or 02116. International shipping has gone off the rails, so US is preferred. CIB = Cart, Instructions, Box CIC = CD/card, Instructions, Case Any other extras will be noted. Free with purchase stipulation: minimum purchase is $15 or any 3 items to get a freebie. Starting from August 2022, I'd consider exceptions to that to include any purchases at all or perhaps even just pay shipping. 4. Please see all of the pictures for what's included. Includes both composite and component cables. The controller has some scratches on it but works perfectly. The clear jelly cover for the controller has a chunk missing but it still stays on. The cover on the console that covers the Gamecube ports has one of the pics missing but it still covers the area properly. No operational issues with the console and the controller has fresh Energizer batteries in it. $OLD plus shipping from 80138.
  5. Hello, all. I hope you're having a good day. The Amico's special controller reminds me a lot of these two consoles. It's hard to believe both consoles came out so long ago. What is your favorite game(s) for these two wonderful machines? Why do you consider it your favorite?

You do not have to sign up or join Etsy to purchase anything...you can do it as a guest as many AtariAge members have. I have many gaming items, please give it a look! 9. Hello AtariAge! I have the following for sale, or I would be willing to trade them/knock the price down for some Wii games I've listed at the bottom of my post. I have an Atari 2600 Jr. with a composite mod. It worked like a charm and is in BEAUTIFUL shape, but I upgraded to a 4-switch woodgrain with UAV and s-video. Therefore, I no longer need this console. CONSOLE ONLY. (I have no spare video cables and the power adapter went to someone else). $80 shipped CONUS. See pics below. I'd recommend playing this on a CRT over a modern flat-screen, obviously—my main reason for upgrading to the UAV mod with s-video through my upscaler was to play on my 4k TV, since I don't have room in my apartment for a CRT. I also have several PSP games for sale, mostly JRPGs. Pics below. Ys: Oath of Felghana (CIB): $96 Ys Seven (mostly sealed): $78 Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days (CIB): $28 Knight in the Nightmare (CIB): $28 Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade (CIB): $5 Brave Story New Traveler (CIB): $33 Crimson Gem Saga (sealed): $28 Feel free to post any questions in this thread. Also, please for the courtesy of others post here right after you PM me. "PM sent," "PM'd," "I sent Bixler a message that I'd categorize as a private one," etc. If you have any of the following Wii games CIB and in minty condition, I'd be happy to set up a trade and adjust the value accordingly: Ghost Squad ($12) Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles ($8) Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles ($10) Thanks! Have a good one.

  12. Well I copied a tangential comment and made it its own topic. I'll try to remove comment from original site. I noticed that light gun games are less accurate because they no longer use the screen as a reference they just use a line, the fact it's placed in the middle of the screen, and whether it's placed above the top or below the bottom of the screen, and that's all the wiimote like gun knows. they should have put the four sensors on the four corners of the screen so it could send three dimensions where the physical screen is. I notice a difference playing on a large 40in screen and a small 12in screen, with the 40 inch screed forcing you to "underaim" and a 12 inch screen forcing you to "overaim", meaning if you are perfectly in the center and a Target is 25% of the screen to the left of you under aiming is having to aim at like 10% left the center and overaiming needs you have to aim off-screen to hit your target. Don't like gun on the Wii feels more like a positional gun. If there was no crosshairs you cannot line it up very well. However true like guns that use CRT TVs have true aim you can hit those four more different positions that a wiimote gun. By the way has anyone tried Xbox Kinect gun aiming or PlayStation Move aiming? There was just one game Blue Estate, just wanted to know how the Amy was cuz I haven't had a chance to hook up a Kinect yet. Is it more true to a CRT aim or more true to a Wiimote aim?
  13. Anyone interested in Wii games? Accepting cash offers via PM. Looking to trade for a Clean working C64 system, clean working Vic-20 system w/ power supply, Vic-20 multicart, and 2600 controllers (PM me and I’ll send you that list) -Kevin
  14. Maybe someone has asked this before, but I was wondering if any of you is keeping track of the games that are becoming more expensive/hard to get during the quarantine due to their high demand. I read that Wii Sports is almost impossible to get in some places, then I looked up Wii Sports Resort (which I don't own sadly) and it seems like that game is also more expensive than it used to be. I assume that Ring Fit Adventure is extremely expensive and maybe Wii Fit will finally be collectible?? I finally started playing the Xbox One version of Rocksmith 2014 again and when I tried to get a copy of Rocksmith for the Xbox 360 so that I can import all those songs, I realized that that game is really hard to get CIB (at least where I live). Any other games that are either expensive or more collectible now that everyone is forced to stay inside? Thanks in advance and stay safe!
  15. This week I got to point and click adventure games for Wii: Titanic and Secret Files: Tunguska. I love them! They remind me so much of the old LucasArts and Sierra games for DOS I used to play. I would very much like to buy more games like this for the Wii. I googled but didn't really find anything for the Wii, just a lot of hits for PC games. Does anyone out there know of any good point and click adventure games for the Wii? Let's get a big list of games going! ✌️ Edit: Keeping a list of PnC Adventure games for the Wii: I'm choosing not to add any wiiware games to this list because wiiware games can no longer be purchased. Titanic Secret Files: Tunguska Back to the Future Sam and Max Season 1 Sam and Max beyond Time and Space Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure Mystery Case Files: The Malgrave Incident Scooby Doo First Frights Guilty Party CSI: Hard Evidence CSI: Fatal Conspiracy CSI: Deadly Intent NCIS Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle A New Beginning Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis Secret Files 3: The Archimedes Code Alter Ego Puzzle Agent Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars Edit2: I picked up a Wii U thinking it might be a "better Wii" with HDMI. I googled and found 3 P&C games for the Wii U. (I haven't played these yet) Armikrog The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 The Song of Seven
  16. I started this round of the swap box and it came back fully loaded to the gills!!
  17. tl;dr: Play games from 21st century systems and post your times! For the second season in a row, it is time for the Modern gameplay tracker. The following text is stolen from Thegoldenband with additions by Iwantgames:) who used to run this tracker at the beginning. Here are the links to previous seasons of the tracker: 2018 So what is this? The basic idea is to post what games you played during each week, and for how long. You don't have to time it down to the minute (though some of us do), and estimates are acceptable. Then, at the end of the week, the statskeeper (that's me) totals everything up and we find out which games and platforms are seeing the most action. Each week, we have top 10 lists for consoles/computers and for individual games. Guidelines: 1. Be sure to list the system, the name of the game, and the length of time you play. Please note if the game has any alternate titles by which it's better known. If you list multiple games, please group them by platform. If you play on a backwards-compatible system, e.g. Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One or PS2 games on PS3, the game should be listed under the older platform's name. This also means that games predating 2000 played on a modern system should be posted in the classic games tracker. e.g. PS1 games played on PS2, GB/GBC games played on GBA, Wonderswan played on Wonderswan Color, Windows 95/98 games on a newer PC and so forth. 2. Each week runs Monday through Sunday (at midnight), though exceptions may occur around New Year. Try to post your times no later than night to Tuesday in your local timezone. I will generally wait until Tuesday evening Central European Time before compiling the stats. If you post after stats have been posted, your times will be counted for the next week. Feel free to indicate in your post which dates your times relate to. 3. Playing on actual hardware is preferred, although emulators are certainly allowed. In some cases (homebrews in development, rare arcade games) there's no alternative to using an emulator. 4. Our cutoff year is 2000. That is, eligible consoles and computers have to have been first released somewhere in the world after 2000. Basically any systems released around the PlayStation 2, XBox, GameCube, Game Boy Advance or after. Anything released before this time period (including the Sega Dreamcast) please post to the Classic Game Tracker The same goes for computers: we count Windows XP or newer, but not 98 or older; Mac OS X or newer, but not OS 9 or older; and so on. 5. Arcade games released on or after January 1, 2000 are permitted. 6. You don't just have to post a bare list of times -- comments, stories, gripes, and helpful hints are always encouraged! If you're struggling with a level, got a new high score, or have some thoughts about what's great or what stinks about a particular game...well, that's the kind of stuff that makes this fun to read. How to make the statskeeper's life easier: - If you post a big list of games, please consider alphabetizing them first (after grouping them by platform). - Posting your times in minutes, rather than hours + minutes, makes things a little simpler. - Even if you don't know the exact time, it's better to post a specific number and say it's an estimate. If you say you posted a bunch of games for "between 20 minutes and an hour", I'll just average everything out to 40 minutes, but it's much better to have a sense of which games you played more and which ones you played less. - If there's room for confusion or ambiguity, please address that in advance so I don't have to research it myself. Non-US releases, homebrews in progress, alternate titles, and expanded re-releases can get especially tricky. That about covers it. If you haven't participated before, or if you did and got busy with other things, consider taking part in 2019! You may find that it has some interesting side effects -- I've found that keeping a log dramatically changes how I think about my own gaming, and mostly for the better.
  18. I have a boxed Wii Fitness board up for trade. I'm looking for some of the things listed here. Wii stuff: NBA Jam Super Mario Bros Wii Mario Kart Wii System carry case/bag GameCube Stuff: Sonic Gems Collection Mega Man Collection Star Wars Bounty Hunter 2 Gamecube controllers

  20. Open source adapter for playing Atari 2600 with Wii Nunchuck. Can work with or without the accelerometers (link). The same board can receive an alternative firmware to adapt nes/snes controllers to Atari
  21. http://youtu.be/c4cLi3iGy5w The Nintendo Wii may have seen its share of crappy shovelware games, but buried beneath all that are some truly fun Hidden Gems for game collectors. If you are looking for some new Wii games, here are some I recommend! What games would you like to see in Part 2 & 3?
  22. I did a bit of searching around on Google and couldn't find any information on the subject, so I was wondering if anyone around here knew if any efforts were being made to preserve some of the more standout WiiWare titles now that the Wii Shop is no more? Sadly I never got to experience Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth, Contra ReBirth, or any number of other critically acclaimed WiiWare titles when they were still available for download; so I was wondering if there are any groups or inviduals out there working on a way to preserve these games for the future?
