Shannon
I was messing around with the SDL compile of mame under blue dog linux and while attempting to assign the d-pad to the directional controls I noticed that it seemed to be recording how hard I pressed down on the d-pad. If you just tap the d-pad it took it as a button, but if you held it down harder then it would record it as an axis input. Interesting..... I just don't remember reading any mention of it. Actually maybe I did and just didn't think anything of it at the time. I know the normal buttons are supposed to be pressure sensitive. xenomorpher
Yeah and the PS2 controller's D-Pads are the same. You lightly press it to sneak in Metal Gear Solid 2 and press hard to run. The PSP however does not have pressure sensitive buttons, but it does need another analog stick.
Shannon
Oh ok I thought only the buttons were pressure sensitive on the PS2. Goes to show how much I pay attention.
