AtariMan1976
I was reading a lil bit and seems the flashback is a no no. Not being actual atari hardware or something. I dont know anything about these things but i've seen them in stores. Sounds like the flashback 2 is good tho. Are any of these essential in a good gameroom collection or no? Math You
Nobody seems to be too impressed with the original Flashback though it might be worth buying one as an investment and keeping it sealed in it's box. The same goes for the 10 in 1 joystick. They'll all be collectible one day and probably hold some kind of historical value aswell. In 20 years time you'll read about them on the internet as "Two more mistakes that Atari made before they finally had the sense to listen to Curt Vendel and the designers at Legacy Engineering!" You'd think there would be a big enough market for it over here. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope we get a PAL version of Flashback 3 and maybe even the Falcon based Flashback 4 Internet computer aka Atari F.B.I. with single tasking operating system for virus and spyware free surfing
Ross PK
It's collectable if you think it is. Will it ever be worth something? Who knows, but it can never be worth as much as orginal hardware.

policelimit
Just look in Amazon and Ebay at the overblown outrageous prices people are selling FB2's for, taking advantage of the fact that they are spotty if not difficult to find in traditional retail outlets. The fact that they are increasingly difficult to find and the prices people are obviously willing to pay for them, may give you some kind of hint as to how collectible they are. This retro gaming/computing industry is something that is new and growing. Keep an eye on it.
