2600 Rom Comparisions and Dumps
This thread is devoted to comparing the old era roms of the atari 2600 library. Have you ever wondered why there is 3 versions of a particular rom with no visible differences? Well you're not alone! Differences in roms range from small bug fixes that are hardly noticeable to a mysterious pirate company doing such an elaborate hack the original game becomes no longer recognizable. Then
I was looking at the supercharger roms in the collection and I have some suggestion about them.
Since emulators and harmony cart require that the multi-load supercharger games are concatenated in a single file I think that the split roms should be removed from the collection. Moreover in the last version there are still some duplicates (they only differs in checksums and filler data, which are created by the programs used to convert the audio tapes into binary images, but are not part of the co
