nathanallan
I sent a few so far. How many people here have sent them anything? I'm sending them another one tomorrow. Nathan
Shawn
I have. EDIT: Never heard back from them though. Not even a bot "thanks for contacting Atari" message Edited March 20, 2007 by Shawn Sr.

Flojomojo
Not me, though I did put some thoughts on this board, which is apparently read by at least some decision-makers at Atari. There's a lot besides fan opinions that goes into making something like the Flashback Portable, especially for a company with financial trouble. I'd love it if some more retro products came to market, but I'm not holding my breath for them. Expect nothing and avoid disappointment! <-- that's not how I like to go through life, but it makes sense when dealing with Atari, whether the old or new iteration of the company. doctorclu
I've written Atari twice trying to figure out who has the current rights to Bubsy Bobcat.

Lots more, sure, but a key component is demand. In the USA, noone makes pink painted cars. It wouldn't cost more to paint it pink rather than a common color, like silver, but they don't do it cause there's very little demand for it. When there's demand, and they actually *know* about it then they will do what they can to fill that demand. Otherwise we who support the release of a Portable and a FB3 just basically sit amongst ourselves yapping with no results. So write them a letter and let them know that there is an actual demand. Posts can be forgotten, emails deleted, so I figger a paper letter carries at least a little more thought process to deal with.
