Rom Hunter
From your current list remove Air Raid, Gauntlet, General Retreat, Karate T Handle, Magicard. You should add the Mystique double enders, Jungle Fever/Knight on Town (Playaround) PAL and Inca Gold. Holy shit. This truly is an amazing find. It's the same game as this one, right? http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.php?...VERSION_ID=8093 Must be a Funvision original. That's their first label design. And this cart also explains the subtitle mentioned between brackets on their Spider Monster instructions: http://atarimania.com/zoom_frame.php?TYPE_...amp;NUM_IMAGE=0 It's PAL, isn't it? Rom Hunter
Using your definition of up to 3 knowns carts, there are only 6 NTSC R10s and some of these have not been found yet. On the other hand, there are about 20 PAL R10s (not including homevision)!Yep. And that's the way it's supposed to be. There are simply more rare PAL carts than NTSC carts. List updated. http://atarimania.com/lst_soft.php?MENU=2&...n_sauver=Search I'm still not sure about removing the original label Magicard and Gauntlet. Also, I'm not sure about adding the PAL PlayAround double-enders. Edited April 8, 2008 by Rom Hunter

Dino
I'm still not sure about removing the original label Magicard and Gauntlet. Also, I'm not sure about adding the PAL PlayAround double-enders. Well, if you limit it to 3, then those should be removed as there are more than 3. As for the Playaround double enders, there is only one to be added, along with the Mystique double enders. As more are found, these can easily be removed, but as things stand, they should be in for the time being.
Rom Hunter
As for the Playaround double enders, there is only one to be addedI don't understand. There are more of them: http://www.atarimania.com/lst_soft-MENU-2-...I-SOFT_LIB.html Shouldn't they be added too? Its not mine, so I can't answer your questions. There are four that have been found but 2 of those have more than 3 known to exist. Jungle Fever knight on town and Philly Flasher/Cathouse blues should be added. You can add the 2 taht have not been found once they surface.
Rom Hunter
Ok, I added three PAL PlayAround double-enders now (3 or less known to exist). It's interesting to see that the PAL ones that are still not found were actually found in PAL under the Mystique brand. Makes you wonder if PAL Bachelor Party / Gigolo and Bachelorette Party / Burning Desire from PlayAround really do exist. About Gauntlet and the first label type of Magicard: Are you sure that more than 3 of each are known to exist? About Gauntlet and the first label type of Magicard: Are you sure that more than 3 of each are known to exist? Gauntlet definately. There's Cincyoti's post on this. Magicard, not sure but I thought it should be removed as you will then get a lot of people arguing that its a label variation and if you put in this label variation, why don't you have Sears picture label Superman etc. I'd be suprised if there weren't at least 4. There are a lot of magicards out there in long time collector's hands. I think Atariager has one and now Crunchysuperman had one. I'd be suprised if there weren't at least another
Rom Hunter
It's done: http://atarimania.com/lst_soft.php?MENU=2&...n_sauver=Search Talking about released label variations: Which ones are true Holy Grails? Atari Black Label Flag Capture Sears Picture Label Superman Any others? Edited April 10, 2008 by Rom Hunter
crunchysuperman
How about: Atari text label Space Mission Atari text label Space Combat Atari Berzerk '82 picture label-yellow main label text Atari Berzerk '85 picture label-blue main label text I only know of one each of these. There are plenty more on my list, but I can't confirm their existence.
Rom Hunter
Hmm. This will not work for our database, because minor variations are (thank God) put together. What about rarity 10 label types? BTW: do you have any pictures/scans of that Space Mission? I thought it was an ad cart only? crunchysuperman
BTW: do you have any pictures/scans of that Space Mission? I thought it was an ad cart only? I don't have scans, but it exists - sskatari2600 (ebay id) has one. I've been trying to get him to sell it for years!
Rom Hunter
Marco, any idea which of the Home Vision games are 3 or less known to exist (not counting the unfound ones)?

I don't have scans, but it exists - sskatari2600 (ebay id) has one. I've been trying to get him to sell it for years! Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that. There's also a Atari text label Baseball cart out there somewhere too IIRC (not Home Run). What ever happened to those? I'm guessing that they're the same as the released versions and are only pre-production label mock ups, but I'd really like to know for sure. No idea, I'm not counting finds, to be honest. Cheers, Marco PS: shouldn't we make a new topic about PAL R10's and keep this one for NTSCs?
