supercat
Here's a test of trying to create one of my 1980's games for the PC. Quite a promising start. On startup, it shows a character mode test screen. Push RESET to clear the screen and enable the worm/snake/whatever. Move the joystick to move the worm/snake/whatever around the screen; push fire button to move faster. The maximum length is 250. I could go longer if I wanted to use a two-byte counter. 78test.bin

Try this one: 78test.a78 32.13 kB · 2 downloads It is also a part of the PROPack under the "Demos" folder as: Wormy Demo (320B Mode) (20070415).a78 The graphics in the middle animate/spin/twist when the controller is pressed in any direction. Pressing either button, while pressing the controller in any direction, performs the same animation faster. Release the button, the animation gradually slows back down to the speed as to when the button was not pressed.
