I broke out the old 8-bit today and started playing with some old carts when I re-discovered the classic that is Captain Beeble.

I had forgotten how maddening yet addictive this game is!!

I spent about 5 hours playing and was only able to get up to screen 6 or 7 (the one with the moving "jaws").

Anyone else spent some quality time with this or know how many levels there actually are?

Thanks,

John

I spent a lot of time in this game. Really, one of my favorites. Even I think Graphics are beautiful, and the puzzles are very well designed.

That was 20 years ago, sorry, I cant remember the details of the end.

Isn't Captian Bebble for the A8 REALLY rare?

Few users outside of Canada have it, but I don't believe that it was a really rare release. I picked up my own copy in a bargain bin sale in 1987, and living in Toronto at the time, I used to see quite a few InHome titles floating around, almost free for the asking. :)

Really rare Canadian A8 title: Poussinet. I never saw this one for sale, anywhere, although it was advertised in Antic.

We have it as a "9" but that's for a complete version. Finding it boxed is really hard.

The rarest Inhome Software titles are Alien Numbers and Math Pack. It seems Baseball was also on tape and disk but I have NEVER seen these versions anywhere, just the cartridge release.

Yes, there are some 10-15 titles that seem pretty much impossible to find, though they were definitely released. Does anybody have Bugrunner by ISIS in cracked form?
