Payments from outside the US to the US

Hello international classic gamers,

I'm looking for suggestions / experiences with ways you've paid for things in the US other than paypal / credit cards?

I will avoid the plug here, but I am selling items and will likely have customers from outside the US and would like to know what methods of payments have worked well for you so I can suggest them to my customers. Unfortunately paypal is not an option as they have decided that my products violate their acceptable use policy.

Any suggestions for methods to use or methods to avoid would be appreciated.

hello Chad,

interesting situation

seeing that it concerns me directly

being in Belgium and seeing that I am interested in CC3

like that the only options I can think of are

1.international money order

2.western union like transfer

3.cash in registered envelope

4.paying with paypal anyway but being "unprecise" about the item purchased

I receive many international orders and I accept two types of payments for them through the AtariAge Store: PayPal and International Money Orders drawn on US Funds. Credit cards are good also if you have a merchant account. Money orders are better since you don't have to pay any PayPal fees, plus the buyer can't yank the funds later (which I've had happen twice with international PayPal payments). They obviously take longer to arrive, though! I've also had bank tellers give me strange looks when I've presented them with odd looking Japanese money orders. :)

To be honest, I don't see any other payment solutions than Credit Card of Paypal.

1.international money order

Extremly slow and expansive.

2.western union like transfer

Extremly expansive.

3.cash in registered envelope

Very high risk.

Just my 2 Euro cent

Marc.

How in heavens name did that come about ?

I would have believed that your products and similar products was just what Paypal was for.
