How to Switch from Outline/Linear Modes

With the upgrade of the forum software a few days ago, a few people have had issues where the thread view has switched into either Outline or Linear+ modes. If this has happened to you, here's what you need to do to switch back to Standard mode:

Normally there is an orange "Options" button at the top of each thread, that if you were to click, would reveal a menu where you can change this. However, the skin is, currently, uhrr, "broken" when viewing in linear or outline modes, and the orange button is missing. However, there is a workaround: First disable Javascript in your browser. Then load any particular thread and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. You'll see three links along the lines of,

"Display Mode: Standard · Switch to: Linear+ · Switch to: Outline"

You can click on these to change how the threads are viewed ("Standard" is what you want), and then turn Javascript back on after you verify it switched properly. I will be spending a fair amount of time this weekend fixing the missing "Options" button as well as a slew of other issues.

If you use Firefox you can also go to Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Show Cookies and delete the cookie for AtariAge titled 'ipbtopicmode'.

Everything will return to normal and you won't even lose your login cookie. :D
