+orpheuswaking
Okay, So I want to set up my system permanently with my two drive and the SIO2PC, but I also have an XC12 I use occasionally and I don't want to have to keep plugging in and out the SIO connector. Anyone have any ideas how I can get around this?

I'm trying to avoid paying for a new 1010 PSU (mine is gone in a move somewhere) plus I know the XC12 works, but not sure on the 1010.... however my primary problem is that the SIO2PC I have has the one SIO and one Serial connector, so even if I wanted to use the XC12 I couldn't as it has to be the end of the chain and then I Can't plug it into the SIO
+Guitarman
That's were one of those Octopus adapters would come in handy!! And one just recently sold on E-bay. It shouldn't be too hard to make one, I would think.
Rybags
Best option: build the APE/SIO2P into the actual computer. Or, consider putting it inside a disk or cassette drive.

Well I'm about as useful as a chocolate teapot, I wouldn't know how to begin and I would be worried about destroying my SIO2PC
