StanJr
thanks Al, that helps somewhat, they still don't explain it to my satisfaction, but I'll figure the rest out as I go.

StanJr
if I bid $10 and somebody else bids $12 on ONE item (and 2 are available) do I get mine for $10 and he for $12 or do we both get them for $10 or what?

Everyone who wins an item receives it for the lowest successful bid. So if 10 items were auctioned, and 9 people bid $20 and one person bid $5, everyone would get it for $5. Now, if one more person bid $20, then everyone would suddenly have to pay $20, and the $5 bidder gets bumped out. ..Al
StanJr
Ok. So if there are like 6 items and one dude bids $100 dollars and another dude bids $3, they both pay $3. I think I get it. While we are at it, what is multi-ship? I really honestly tried to Use the E-bay help thingy but its all weird.
tomyou
Multi-ship is when you have one bidder win several of you auctions and you cut a break on the shipping costs thus shipping multiple item at a reduced price. Say you charge $2 to ship a game and a bidder wins 4 games. Do you charge $8.oo shipping ? Not if you want to stay in business you dont Everybody has a different formula as what to charge but most everyone also cuts a good deal for their multiple item winners. Varan
You gotta watch out though. There are people out there who don't combine shipping for multiple items. It's wrong to leave bad feedback if they have it stated in their auctions and you overlooked it..... It's not wrong though to have them ship each item to a different address.
