A Sprite
Or, if you can't show any screenshots, at least show us the sprites you've received? "Like Dragon Quest and Phantasy Star" isn't very specific. Is this warm and cartoonish like the first, or sleek and shiny like the second? I think he meant "Like Dragon Quest and Phantasy Star" in the way the gameplay should be. Surely an own graphical style should be better and more recognizable than re-doing some graphical style from another game. But I understand your point in that way that you need to know in which direction Mausboy wants the graphics to be.
A Sprite
I just noticed Mausboy edited the first post in this thread. No wonder he's been quiet, my sprites are useless to him. You can come out of hiding, little guy...there's no hard feelings. How goes the project?
MausBoy
A Sprite - I'm just now seeing all those sprites, which I definately still needed for this project. Those all look great, and fit the specs thanks to MR. I swear I'll post some screenshots tomorrow but i'm not sure they'll be useful. What I meant about those two games is they both have single sprites that face forward and have very limited attack animation. I didn't have a specific style or direction I would rather leave that up to the artists. I can attach a screenshot of one of the backgrounds that enemies appear in front of, to give you an idea what they'll look like. The other two pics I didn't mean to upload they are from something else. Edited September 11, 2007 by MausBoy

MausGames
I'm not sure, this game is some serious work. I have more unfinished 2600 projects than I can count, but if they all ever get finished I'll have a whole catalog.

I'll even take requests.
