with teledisk, and other means to move the software, individual geometry of the physical distributed medium doesn't matter so much, so long as the software can run... once you've transferred and run makedisk if needed it usually runs.

Indus CP/M bios is fixed to 256 byte sectors, single sided.

However you can write your own program to read larger sectors if you wish but only single sided. you can get really ambitious and rewrite the indus cp/m bios if you wish to handle different size sectors.

Cannot comment about the 1571. if it uses a FDC and is close to industry std layout, it may be possible.

Hi. Just got @tf_hh's Indus Ram Chargers installed in two Indus drives (thank you!!)  I'm trying to locate the 40 column Indus RAM Charger 40/80 Col. Terminal (www.retrobits.net/atari/indus.shtml) but the retrobits.net web server is not responding.  I'm following the instructions at http://trub.atari8.info/index.php?ref=indus_cpm_en

 

I've searched and so far been unable to locate it elsewhere.  Please help.

Looking at the drive front it is on the very right edge of the circuit board, outside the metal frame. 
 

I think the orientation of the SRAM Charger is correct but better check tfhh‘s docs. This is not a working Indus (but thanks for the reminder to finally get it working again ;)).

Can't remember if I left a copy on the HARDWARE folder, but you NEEED Trub-Terminal for Indus/GT. It should be there (hopefully).
