Hi,

 

I'm importing a Bitmap file using version 3.8.5.5 (20/Sep/2007).

but want to set the palette manually. If I alter the colour->register

mappings first and then 'Preview' the picture reloads and I can

then adjust the (display) colour palette to the correct colours.

 

If I do this the other way around, that is set the Palette colours

first, then when I then press the 'Preview' button (which above it

has "Append at > 0") then I'm asked if I want to save changes,

after which the image is re-imported at line 192 (original height

of the bitmap). Is that by design? If so, can you add something

like "if holding down control-key when 'Preview' is press the

(re)import will default to row zero?

 

Otherwise, how can you manually set the "Append at" value?
