They are found here: http://www.digitpress.com/library/intervie...chael_case.html

You just have to go past the end of the interview to see the 2 links two download the games. The Designer of the two games is Michael Case. Michael Case created Harem while he was at Multivision.

He worked on Androman on the Moon while at Western Technologies. The game was being done for the Andoman Robot.

These 2 games are not on Tempest's website.

I WONDER if Michael Case has the actual proto carts for these two games...... ;)

Yes, he does.

BTW, I posted about this in the 2600 section earlier this morning:

http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=115595

I know he has the ROMS for them but were the ROMS in Atari 2600 carts, if so, I would like to see those. Also, if he has them, I wonder if he is going to auction them off or something. Man, I would be all over those.... ;)

I played around with Harem a bit tonight. For an Adult 2600 game it's pretty good, but for a regular 2600 game it sucks pretty hard. Not only is the "plot" of the game surreal at best (WTF do dragons, mystery snipers, and gargoyles have to do with getting laid?), the controls are incredibly frustrating. The dragon is very difficult to get past, and the timing on the snake/lady (another "WTF is up with that?" moment) is almost luck rather than skill. Once you get to the top of the screen the game seems to basically be over as you can catch the girl over and over, but never get past that point. Still, it's nice to see a new 2600 proto, so I guess I won't be too harsh on the game. Compared to the other 2600 porno titles it's easily the best of the lot.

I think Case was eating a few too many wild mushrooms.

Battle of the Sexes sounds cheesy like the Mystique games from what Case said about it. Harem is original at the very least...something the other adult titles were most definitely not.

The background story of Harem is fascinating to say the least.

There's enough material to make a movie out of it.

Harum Scarum II, starring: Dick.

8)

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. You'd be surprised at just how many of these type of stories I hear from former programmers (although this one is by far the most interesting).

Expect a full review tonight.

Scott Stilphen just messaged me about this and it seems Mike Case does not have the prototypes themselves. :(

THANKS for the INFORMATION.... :) :(

Seems he sold them off years ago...all he has are the ROMs. But at least we got those.

It's a shame he doesn't have them anymore. What were the odds that he kept the roms before selling them off though? Speaking of which, I wonder who he sold them to???

It definitely was not me. Speaking of which, I WONDER if we will ever see the Battle of the Sexes game. Case mentioned in the interview that the Western people kept the only known copy. If they are still in Culver City, maybe I need to stop by there...it's only 10 miniyes from me.

I know, very odd...that's why I assumed he still had them based on what he said about the owners of the company having kept the Battle of the Sexes prototype. Why didn't he keep a back-up of that one as well? Oh well...

Exactly who, I am not informed.

The Multivision owners kept the proto, not the Western people. Who knows with something like that...it could have been sold or tossed years ago.

If sold there is still a slight chance of it surfacing. Fingers crossed ;)
