Mendon
Just wanted to post that PS3 Firmware Ver. 2.0 is now available and ready for ya to download. I'm in the process of DL'ing it now and will post back after I've installed and played around with it. Mendon
cimerians
Ive heard this is a huge update but not big enough to let me play PS3 games or PS2\PS1 games on my PSP yet.
MegaManFan
I have yet to download it successfully but what I'm given to understand from friends who have is that there's a new menu section now for PlayStation Network and your store and account options have been moved under it, plus it has a tab to monitor your connection to PSN and make sure it's active (apparently this really freaks out some old routers). MetalSlime23
I downloaded this and installed it. Afterwards, I tried to access the Playstation Stor, and my system froze. I rebooted and it was fine. Who knows? A temporary glitch? I turned off the stupid message board thing too. It seemed to be causing some lag between system menus. cimerians
Oh my god they finally changed the way you play PS1 and PS2 games... Finally: You now do NOT have to press the annoying PS button every time you play or exit a PS1 or PS2 game. THANK YOU.
Agent X
Oh my god they finally changed the way you play PS1 and PS2 games... Finally: You now do NOT have to press the annoying PS button every time you play or exit a PS1 or PS2 game. THANK YOU. Are you sure? I played some PS2 games earlier today, and am pretty sure I still had to press the PS button. With regard to PS1 games, I haven't tried any yet since updating the firmware to 2.00, but I never had to press the PS button when playing them in the past. You can play PS1 games on your PSP, both purchased and burned, even if you have custom firmware, ya know.
EricDeLee
For some reason I have not been able to connect to the PS store or the internet since I downloaded this firmware.
