Mark2008
As promised, when I had enough of the Pacific Fleet engine written to do a playable game...here it is. This is not the Pacific Fleet game, rather just a game using some of the parts. still, it kind of hints at the game, in places, I think. Now, I noticed people stop writing...am I posting too often? Is the progress reports boring? Do I need to do an Atari version, because Colecovision isn't as interesting? Let me know... thanks result.zip

I got spoiled. Oh well, I guess I'm not getting bogged down with getting other stuff done...hey waitaminute...I'm bogged, I'm bogged. Let me know... thanks Like I said earlier, (whatever the console) you must have fun programming your game. Don't program it for bad reasons like the number of comments per day you expected. I personaly have projects in progress and some are over-due. I have less free time than before. Sorry to not comment as much as you want. * update * I played and I win twice... it's more easier after the first time. Regards, Daniel ah ha, yes.. its considerably easier :-) As I had my own little beta testers here... of course, its not very fun unless the ships change, but I was anxious to upload another blog....so I didn't wait for that mere detail. anyway, by the end, it will certainly be a much different game, with the various missions and powerups, it will take on a strategy element... I probably didn't thank you for your tools. They are great. I got your tools working the other day, and today I got Batari Basic up and running.... Batari also looks good, although the games are going to be hardware constrained, to say the least. But back to the tools...it was really fun, and I never owned a colecovision, I don't remember exactly why I started this project, but probably something to do with it was made to look really neat and easy, and for the most part, that has turned out to be true. the community...very quiet people who don't talk a lot. That's my first impression, now having been here just a little bit. Nothing wrong with that, not at all...and that is directed at no one in particular...everyone is busy, and I get busy, all understandable.... still, I could make more posts in a day than all the rest of the homebrew scene combined....I'm verbose. But of course, I will constrain my enthusiasm :-) I'll probably slow down development to the pace expected....been looking at Batari Basic, may whip up something there, alongside the Colecovision game.
