After brainstorming Pharaoh's Curse and M.U.L.E., join me having a closer look at Fort Apocalypse now :)

I love FA!

Judging by the feedback in the brainstorming thread you are the only one unfortunately ;)

Yeah. I think many people may not be as familiar with Fort Apocalypse since it has never been on a console before that I know of...only computers.

Oh well, no Forbidden Forest then....

Refresh my memory on this one. I played a FF on the Commodore-64 back in the day. Gameplay was, as I recall, nothing really special but the graphics were really cool for the time. And the way the graphics changed from day to night was cool. I seem to recall you had an arrow and shot at things. Was it just a point and shoot or some sort of gravity simulation that affected your trajectory?

It's more a point and shoot game but you can set the arrow's peak trajectory by pressing up or down.

The gameplay may be simple but hitting an enemy in the later levels is quite challenging (at least for me).

I really love the creepy atmosphere of the game and not to forget the great musics and sound fx.

Check it out in emulation...
